Remember the days when we can find authentic Buble Tea house everywhere in Singapore? Years has gone & many closed down, now we're only left with those kiosk style at MRTs. Tea Valley is one of the few that is still around ever since 10 yrs ago~

During JC time, my best frens & I like to come here after school almost every week, to talk about our crushes, & other ppl's curshes (i.e. gossiping ;p). Our favourite was the Taiwanese salty chicken & basically almost all kinds of tea they have, their noodle was pretty good too. It wasn't cheap for us at that time & there's no aircon. But we can sit here for hours not just because we have endless topics, but also because they have variety of entertainments - HK Gossip Magazines, SG Fashion Magazines & TV! The staffs were all very friendly and smiley.

Since then I've been there with different friends~

I am so sad that they moved to another store space & changed the reno now... I missed the old style~ I'll soon have a gathering with my good old frens again & how it taste now~

The first time I tried their 北菇滑鸡饭，I felt like there's light shining behind me like those in comics! That's the most tender chicken steam rice I've eaten in foodcourts~ Followed by a spoon of "real" double-boiled winter-melon soup (many other stores taste like they've only boil for 10min with alot of salt), it's a taste of home~

There was a very friendly lady who served in the past but recently I don't see her anymore. The standard of soup doesn't feel as "authentic" as when she's around too. But the rice is still good ;)~ Better than some restaurants at very affordable price~

You may wonder what's there to write about Mcdonald's? Aren't they all the same?

Yeah the food are more or less the same every branch, but I like the service staffs here very much. There used to be an auntie that is always so smiley so sunshine & friendly although she might have already served hundreds of customers before you. Her greetings always brighten up my tired or "sian" day. I seldom see her around nowadays, but the other staffs are pretty nice too~

You know what is good service when they say "enjoy your meal" with a genuine smile looking at your eyes.

We came here after visiting SAM as it's conveniently on Queen St. We didn't have any expectation & it really left us with no expectation for a next time...

The food are all looking great, but taste like u & I may make better ones. I personally didn't try the Mains, only the dessert. But my hungry friends didn't seem enjoying the meal & we actually had a second round aft tat. The dessert was so-so 7 we had left-over.

It's just a place to fill your stomach when u are nearby, but nothing memorable from my trip~

Had been to Ippudo twice.

The first time was a great experience, felt like it's worth the long wait~ Most of us ordered the Akamaru Ramen & it's great! Mine is with the 3-layer-meat & the fats doesn't taste like fats, it just melt into your mouth (oh I'm missing it!), the soft-heart egg was addictive~ We like the comic environment alot but the bad thing is we gotta share table with other ppl... Service was pretty good, the friendly Japanese staff chatted with us when we tried to talk jap with him ;) But most of the time they are too busy to attend to our requests promptly... Overall the experience made us wanna come for a second time.

However when we came again 2 months ago, it doesn't taste as great as the first time, like the other openricer's comment, only the egg was impressive. The service staffs seemed to be new, did they change the chef too?
