Pu Tien wows me again! Smile Mar 05, 2011

Pu Tien is one of my favourite restaurants serving Chinese cuisine. It is budget friendly and the food served there has its own uniqueness.

I'll never fail to order Pu Tien's lor mee. Beside the fact that it is served with white gravy, the bowl will be rich with seafood, vegetables and everything else that makes it one of the most popular dishes.

The homemade beancurds are so smooth, they almost melt in the mouth. This is also one of the most ordered dish to go with my lor mee. And when they are eaten with Pu Tien's specialty chili sauce, I can just say bagus!

Nobody can resist the herbal soup that comes with the bamboo shoot prawns. Though there are only 2 prawns in each shoot, it's the rich broth that keeps me wanting more. Well, Pu Tien's chilli sauce just makes everything taste even better! lol

I've always like Coffee Bean as they are very creative with coming up with new drinks, especially during festive season. For this year's Chinese New Year, they came up with a drink which was a mix of orange and cranberry.

Initially, I didn't dare to try as i like to order my usual favourite drinks (caramel or white chocolate ice blend). Plus, the combination would surely taste sour. Well, in the end I ordered an ice blend with lots of whipped cream and didn't regret a bit.

The taste was refreshing and the combined flavours were surprisingly delightful. I do hope that Coffee Bean can bring back this drink soon smile

Soya bean is good for our health so that's why I make it a point to have soya products in my meals, preferably daily. Mr Bean's soya milk is the best choice because it is not very sweet yet taste addictive. I'll always buy the set (with pancake) as my breakfast or just a snack on the go. With pearls, the drink is a killer!

Who can ever resist the special naughty ice cream flavours available at Udders? From my first discovery point at Novena to my current favourite haunt at Siglap, this is where I pamper myself whenever I feel like it.

My all time favourite flavours are hazelnut and the one with atap chee. Mao Shan Wang has to back off as this is one flavour that can only be eaten alone (hey, it's durian) but I still love it. Nowadays, I like my ice cream to go with the waffle as the latter is soft and tender.

As usual, it's a great place to hangout with friends and have great ice cream. smile

I have always like to dine at V8 restaurant as the pricing is pocket-friendly and the food is nice. Furthermore, my bf, who is a Safra member is entitled to further discounts on the final bill.

I'll usually have the V8 signature dish as it's really nice, with the melted cheese and bacon on top of the chicken chop. They are rather flexible as they allow us to change side dishes according to our preferences. Usually I ''' swop the vegetables" with something more filling like wedges.

Every order of main course does come with a soup of the day so it's still not bad. Do bring along your friends to try if they have to do so.
