Met my family at the din tai fung here for a family dinner. As usual, this outlet is always crowded, even on weekdays, you'd probably have to queue for at least 10-15 minutes before managing to get a table.

We ordered quite a number of dishes to share between ourselves. We ordered 3 longs of the classic xlb, wanton noodles soup and jia jiang noodles. Service was prompt as usual, the staff made it a point to refill our tea constantly.

I got myself a Popsicle from frost bite. I thought it was interesting, it's like I don't actually get to find these fresh ones commonly. From a rather wide spread of flavors to choose from, I chose the honey soy since I figured a lighter flavor would be better for digestion. Would like to try the chocolate blueberry cheese cake next time. They're really yummy.

I had the salmon bruschetta for finger food. It was yummy as hell, the smoked salmon serving was generous and the bread was toasted nicely. After having this made me want to learn how do I make them. eM By The River also has great service, prompt, polite and friendly. Not forgetting great ambience.

Ordered economic noodles for my breakfast. I requested for a mix between the fried mee hoon and maggie mee. For side ingredient, I got stir-fried cabbage. The auntie also asked if I wanted curry gravy on my noodles and I said okay. The chili added great taste to the overall but it was really oily, maybe they can do something about this.

I had the peking duck pizza at California Pizza Kitchen. It was like east meets west. The toppings were unique, I like the sweet bbq sauce, the tender duck meat and wanton crisps.

Maybe it would have been better if I switched it to thin crust though, as the ordinary crust was a bit too much for my liking.
