Chill out. Smile May 04, 2011

Anyone who suggests Starbucks to me always have with a respond of, "SURE" with a smile.

My friends and I were chilling out at Vivocity when we took a walk over to Starbucks @ HarbourFront Centre. We ordered a Venti iced mocha frappuccino, a molten lava chocolate cake (AWESOME) and a lemon meringue cupcake. I wasn't too much of a fan of the lemon meringue cupcake, I took a bite to try but that was pretty much it.

green apple juice. Smile May 04, 2011

Bought a cup of fruit juice after a spicy bowl of noodles. I ordered green apple juice as it helps kill the spicy tangy feeling on my tongue, to me at least.

The juice was fresh and satisfying. It tasted really natural with not an over portion of ice cubes. The auntie was friendly too.

Swiss Rolls. Smile Apr 27, 2011

Royals Cafe is a kiosk bakery located at the basement level of Lot One shopping mall. They have many different types of cakes, cookies and pastries. There were some samples and I tried the Mocha Walnut cake, it was delicious and fresh. It only cost $1.80 for a small single rectangular piece.

I bought a box of Swiss Rolls (4 pieces). They weren't too sweet and the best part was that it was in a mixture of 4 different flavors: strawberry, chocolate, original vanilla and coffee. I like having varieties. My favorite was the chocolate one of course.

Great cakes to share the joy.

Breakfast <3 Smile Apr 25, 2011

I love stepping into Coffee Bean as the aroma of freshly breaded coffee lingers in the air. I think sipping on a cup of latte or ice blended really makes me feel relaxed, with the company of friends or not.

My friends and I met up on a weekday morning for some breakfast at Coffee Bean. I ordered a Hot Chocolate while they had tea. We also ordered 2 bagels to share, one whole wheat and one plain. I personally prefer the whole wheat ones. We had them toasted with cream cheese. They went so well together. Delicious breakfast and great environment. What a lovely morning!

Cuttlefish Porridge. Smile Apr 22, 2011

I enjoy having porridge for lunch on a day where I'm not feeling too hungry or just want something more liquid for a meal.

This stall sells great porridge, many various flavors: Cuttlefish, Peanut, Century Egg, Minced Pork, etc. The owner is really friendly and generous too, what's more he only charges $2.50 per bowl. That's why my mom and I like ordering from this stall.

It gets rather crowded during lunch hours but before and after that, it usually doesn't have a queue.
