Categories : Japanese | Food Court

This stall sells very crispy tempura. It is really value for money. The tempura are fried on the spot and it uses the freshest prawns to make. You can either choose to eat it with or without noodle. The tempura sauce they give also of made of superior quality. The batter of the tempura is fried to a golden brown colour and the prawns inside is very moist and nice. The prawn they give is also very fresh and big. This dish is popular among their regular customers. This stall also sells other Japanese Food. I just like the way they fry the tempura.

Fried Kway Teow Smile Dec 31, 2010

Categories : Coffeeshop

This char kway teow stall has many regular customers that come from all over Singapore. Firstly, the stall is always crowded with customers during office hours. The stall gives generous portion of cockles, prawns and chinese sauages. The kway teow is fried together with the yellow noodle and bean sprouts to a sizzling hot dish. The kway teow and yellow noodles are also stir-fried in a high fire that give the special distinctive rich taste.

For $3.50 one plate, you can enjoy a plate of yummy and delicious noodle. I like most it the chilli and sweet sauce they used.

Crispy Red Bean Pancake. Smile Dec 31, 2010

Categories : Desserts and Cakes

Jollibean's rivalry competition would definitely include Mr Bean. I love the soya milk from both however when it comes to the pancakes, I would prefer Jollibean’s. Jollibean has got all min chang kuei, rounded pancakes as well as crispy pancakes. I bought the crispy pancake, red bean flavored to try today. It was super crispy, tasted like chewy biscuit and the red bean filling was sweet enough to my liking and complemented with the pancake well.

New York Super Fudge Chunk. Smile Dec 31, 2010

Categories : Ice Cream and Gelato

Now who doesn't love Ben & Jerry's? It has always occurred to me about the strong rivalry competition among the two quality ice-cream brands on which is better than which- Ben & Jerry's and Häagen-Dazs. I assume that Ben & Jerry's is sweeter, funkier as well as chunkier in their ice-cream. Whilst Häagen-Dazs is smoother, creamier and cater more to classic flavors. I also believe kids would prefer to dine in at Ben & Jerry's over Häagen-Dazs as the former has heart-warming and cutesy shop settings.

I ordered a scoop of New York Super Fudge Chunk on a 'flower' waffle biscuit bowl. The ice-cream is chocolate flavored filled with different nuts and both chocolate and white chocolate chunks. I love the richness of their ice-cream and they never fail to make me smile after a scoop or many scoops, because one is never enough.

natural froyo with blueberries. Smile Dec 31, 2010

Categories : Frozen Yogurt

Yoguru is still my utmost favorite frozen yogurt brand. Quite frankly, I never knew Yoguru had an outlet at Tangs Food Basement. It was my first time purchasing a cup from here. I'm used to visiting the one at Raffles City. Like usual, I had to have a whole Jumbo size cup to myself. This time I ordered the Original flavor as I wanted to savor some natural sour yogurt taste, added blueberries topping for some anti detoxation. I can't express more how good Yoguru is, it is creamy and melts in your mouth with no awful aftertaste. I have heard that the reason why Yoguru tastes so heavenly creamy is because they use milk instead of water in their recipe.
