I grabbed a simple nasi lemak takeaway for my dinner. I basically asked for rice with one fried chicken wing, cut up into 3 pieces, and ikan billis with loads of sambal chili at the side.

The rice grains were crunchy, moist and nice. The fried chicken wing, though oily but was juicy. The sambal chilli was the bonus point.

Cheap and good.

Frolick is one of my top choices for yoghurts. I like their original flavour yoghurt especially with strawberry toppings. It tastes really great especially on a hot day. Its chilly yoghurt just melts on your tongue and cools your body temperature. It costs around $4.50 for a cup and its non fattening. A great dessert for your waistline.

I ordered yong tau foo from this stall for my dinner.

I chose 7 pieces of different varieties, the bean sprout served in a bowl was considered as 1 serving and that was my number one choice, I like bean sprouts.

I requested for tom yam soup instead of the ordinary one as I like spicy food. For my staple, I chose rice.

We headed to Red Dot Brewery at Boat Quay for drinks in the evening and ordered a basket of chicken wings to go along with the drinks. Each serving of basket costs around $10 which comes with their signature chilli sauce. The chicken wings tasted alright as it was a little oily. Nice ambience and place to chill out with friends.

I bought a mixture of mixed fruits platter to share with my sister for dessert after our dinner!

I chose a banana, pineapple, rock melon, red apple, guava and papaya. The auntie was friendly and cheerful. She also added ice cubes to my platter, chilled fruits taste better.

The platter cost $5.50.
