Bread frenzy  OK Mar 06, 2011

Attracted by the newly opening offer, $3 for 2 Danish bars and a small bottle of Mogu-mogu(Apple/Grape). I chose the Colored Danish bar and the Cream Danish bar. The colored Danish Bar is coated with colorful small candies that we usually found on cakes at one side. the colored candies are a bit hard but the bread is very nice and fragrance. In other hand, the Mogu-mogu taste weird. The nada de coco in the drinks is not taste like normal nada de coco. And it’s not chewy also. it’s soft and you can just slurp into your throat.

it's same like other Breadtzlk branches, selling same products at same price. The shop is not so big so be careful of bang somebody's head, bodytongue They have open kitchen too. I am quite enjoy seeing bakery chef making the breads

Disappointed dining experience Cry Mar 06, 2011

It’s a bad experience to queue up in front of the restaurant. The queue seems not moving at all. When I got my seat, it’s just a small table for 2 persons. The tables are very near to each other, we have problem to put down our things, even on the floor. The pathway is so narrow, if you put something on the floor, it’s blocking the way. It’s not a pleasant experience there.

The food there is normal. As usual, I’ve order the nonkotsu ramen set. As my friend ordered Crayfish Ramen. Luckily my nonkotsu ramen portion for the nonkotsu is smaller now. A bit disappointed.

Ice-Cream!! Smile Mar 05, 2011

I stepped in Il Gelato Di Bruno because of voucher $2 that I got when I bought chocolates in Hersey shop just right beside it. I bought the Mocha Frappe which it is come with a scoop of ice-cream on the top. I saw the crew scoop the cappuccino ice–cream into the blender. Then you get to choose a scoop of cream of your choice. I chose cookies and cream. The manager asked me to judge it myself whether it’s better than the Starbucks or Coffee Bean frappe.

After I slurp my drink, I’ve no doubt to buy a birthday cake for my friend there. I came back there the next day and got my Milk Chocolate Ice-cream cake as a present. And it’s cheap, $30 for the round cake and $40 for the square cake. I couldn’t believe it to be so cheap. And you will get 25% if your birthday is fall on that week [Monday is the 1st day].

The crews there are friendly and I am sure go there again! lol

Get a cupcake to cheer you up~ Smile Mar 05, 2011

Craving for cupcakes recently and found the nice on at Icon Village in Tanjong Pagar. I stand in front of the cupcakes and try to figure out what is the different between the beautiful cupcakes. They do not have tag to tell the names of the cupcakes or even the flavor of each cupcake. I’ve to ask the staff there one by one. At the end, I can’t remember anyone of them. So I just simply chose few of them. The mini cupcakes cost $1 each while the normal size cupcake selling at $3.50 each. Overall it's good, the cakes taste moisture and the cream, yeah it's melts in your mouth, sweet in your heart lol

Went to Sakae Sushi to have the last round of Lohei and because it’s a lunch time. We queued up outside the restaurant like 15mins to get seats. The manager is unfriendly and with the annoying face. He used to scream to his staff from the cashier. It’s really annoying for us when we are chatting and eating happily there.

The Lohei is good. Salmon is fresh, vegetables are fresh too, and the sauce is right to the point. The waitress helped us to add the crackers, sauces and everything into the colorful vegetables. The sushi there is standard. No surprised.
