The 6 of us decided to have our monthly food gathering after work!
One of my friend, Rae brought us to have dinner at Shokudo Japanese Food Bazaar!
I love this concept that's similar to Mache lol
Each of us was given a card to order food with, when we leave we can just bring the card to the cashier and pay our bills!
I find this concept quite innovative than the traditional retailers.
As for the food, we were so overwealmed with the choices!
All of us bought something different from another store so we can try all!
I bought the omu rice with grilled chicken and absolutely love the egg! It was just nice, not very dry tongue
I ordered a matcha drink to go along with too, i love the taste so much that i had two cups lol
My colleagues bought chicken cutlet hamburger, rosti with sausage and egg, udon noodles, Okonomiyaki, Yakitori, japanese style omelette, Gyoza, shishamo and curry rice!
The chicken cutlet hamburger was quite nice and the rosti with sausage and egg is quite comparable to mache's lol
I didn't try the udon noodles but i had a taste of the pipping tasty soup.
The Okonomiyaki, Gyoza and Yakitori were very delicious but best of all i love the japanese style omelette!
I don't know why but i just love japanese style omelette or omu rice, the eggs are sweet rather than salty.
I didn't try the shishamo, just thinking about pregnant fish makes me go green sad
Lastly i ordered a waffle for us all to share, it was top with strawberry ice cream and chocolate sauce.
A perfect ending to our meal lol

Strawberry Mocha Latte

Strawberry Mocha Latte

It was around 2 plus going on to 3pm.
I was waiting for my friend at TCC for her to end her afternoon class that she's having nearby.
I love the ambience at TCC, since it was around afternoon time during weekdays, there wasn't much people around smile
I brought along a book and decided to have a coffee drink to pass time while i read lol
I saw that their menu had this Strawberry Mocha Latte which looks very nice!
I ordered one and it came looking so tasty to drink.
I took away the peppermint leaves on top and stir in the whip cream into the drink so that they all won't be stagnant on top when i finish the drink later!
The drink was quite nicely blend od strawberry and mocha ice coffee lol
Usually im not a regular coffee drinker but this is really nice and worthy to try!
I recommend this drink if you are unsure what to order at TCC tongue

Beef stroganoff butter omu rice

Beef stroganoff butter omu rice

It was my belated birthday celebration after work. Four of us including myself decided to have our dinner at Ma Maison Bugis. I have heard of this place but have never try it as it's always filled with people and long queue. This outlet is quite small too as even when we got there around 6 plus, the place was packed and we had to queued till nearly 7 before getting a seat. All of us ordered a main course each and i decided to try the Beef stroganoff butter omu rice that my friend highly recommended! lol As shown in the picture, it came with mushrooms! Another of my favourite food to have as i always find mushroom complementing in meals. The beef was tasty and i love the sauce that came with it. Best of all, this has one of the loveliest omu rice that i've seen. I love the eggy sauce like egg covering the rice tongue I finished every single of it and couldn't wait for another gathering with my friends there smile But i don't think it would be the case unless it's some occassion as it was quite ex in my opinion. The bill came at around $80 plus going $90! However i have the special priviledge of not chipping it as it was his belated present to me lol

Wimbly Lu, my second visit.
Love this quaint little place tucked in the residential estates in Serangoon.
Check out the fluffy white clouds look in the interior!
This place is known for its desserts and ambiance smile

This time round i ordered some different dishes from my first visit!
First dish, Chicken & mushroom baked rice (SGD11).
Verdict: Don't order this, quite tasteless and bland shocked
Secondly we had their Tuna & Cheese Toasty Melts (SGD6) to share, this was quite ok smile
Good ol sandwiches!chopstick
Next dish that came was the fries (SGD4)!
It came in a super cute basket that was usually used for dim sum tongue
Lastly to round off our dinner we had root beer w. vanilla ice cream bowl
Super loving this sweet treat!
Root beer cake (SGD6)! First time ever lol
And comes with vanilla ice cream just perfectly matched smile

I saw on their website that they have Weekday Value Meal deal at just $3.90!
For this price i'll get 2 pc Tender, 1 Winglet and 1 Biscuit lol
The tender was great, no bones and meaty lol
I always love the biscuit, very fragrant taste!
The best is that this set come with a milo drink too chopstick
I ended work at 5pm that day around Serangoon and have to rush down to buy this since this offer is valid from only 2.30 pm - 5.30pm!
For this price the portion's good enough to have a good just nice fulfilling dinner bowl
