Dinner at Ngee Ann City Sushi Tei Smile Mar 29, 2012

Categories : Japanese | Sushi/Sashimi | Kids-Friendly

Visited Sushi Tei at Ngee Ann City 2 weeks ago for dinner, We order quite a number of dishes to share but i order the Floss soft shell crab sushi and the fried tofu for myself. It cost me around $15 for both dishes. but it is worth the money. The pork floss really compliments the soft shell crab sushi. It is crunchy on the outside but tender on the inside. The tofu goes well with the fish floss on top. must try!!!! reasonable priced

Fish Soup at Long Ji Smile Mar 28, 2012

Categories : Coffeeshop | Chinese Soup

Tried the long queue Long Ji fish soup at Hougang. They are pretty famous in that area. Decied to give it a try. i order the clear soup slice fish with rice and only cost me $4.50 (Rice - $0.50). Firstly, the soup is fragrant and sweet. There is no sign of any fishy smell or taste. They are generous in the serving of the slice fish. really worth the money spent.

lunch at Leng Kee Smile Mar 28, 2012

Order the slice fish soup at Leng Kee from Bukit Timah Market. I specially chose it without adding milk to the soup as that is when you can really taste the real sweetness of the soup. normally, sellers will add milk to the soup to enhanced the taste. For Leng Kee, the soup is sweet on its own and there is no fishy taste at all. This shows the skill of the cook. For $4 a bowl, it is really worth it and the serving of the fish is also good. very good meal

Square Bun Junior at OUB Centre Smile Mar 28, 2012

First time having this cinnamon roll bun from Square Bun Junior At OUB Centre Raffles Place.
Surprisingly, it is very nice. I am starting to fall in love with it. Although it is a bit pricey for a small bun at $1.50. but you can choose to purchase box of 6 at a discount of $7. I bought the Banana flavour Bun and the taste of the banana goes really well with the cinnamon bun. There are many flavours to choose from. recommended to try.

Lunch at Hong Lim Smile Mar 27, 2012

Categories : Hawker Centre | Seafood

Went to Hong Lim Hawker Centre for Lunch and ordered a serving of Seafood Hor Fun for Ho Kee Tze Cha stall. I would say the standard of the hor fun is really good. The ingredients are generous and the dish is very well done. The Hor Fun is thick and yummy. The kway tiao is very smooth and chewy. I only spend $5 for the hor fun. Will definitely try it again
