Popiah OK Dec 29, 2010

Categories : Singaporean | Food Court

Decided to try the popiah at suntec's fountain food court. Told the auntie I want chilli for my popiah and guess what ??? She gave lots of chilli and made it too spicy for me to enjoy my popiah. In the end, never finish my popiah. If she gave little chilli or I ordered the no chilli popiah, then it would be great. The popiah was filled with generous amount of fillings but personally find it abit dry.

Very Nice Dim Sum Smile Dec 29, 2010

Dim sum at crystal jade was still the nicest I had try. Ordered a few of their dim sum for breakfast - egg tarts, siew mai and pan fried dumpling with prawn and parsley and had a filling dim sum meal. The egg tarts was tastefully baked, the crust was soft and the egg custard can smell the frangrant of the eggs itself. Siew mai was tasty and stuffed with generous meat too. As for the pan fried dumpling with prawn and parsley,it was not oily at all. It was super nice and it was my first time trying this dim sum. Never imagine it could be so tasty. Yes,must must try their dim sum smile)

Mr Bean My Love !  Smile Dec 29, 2010

Dear Mr Bean, really like you so so much. Words can't express my love for your soyabean milk. It taste so so nice and rich. Not only that, you smell fragrant and can smell your rich soyabean milk once the lip was opened. I like it especially when you are served hot. Too much to reject your offer of the hot soyabean milk. Must give Mr Bean a taste of their hot soyabean milk or else you will regret it. tongue

I have never try soup that taste so bad in my whole life before. Ordered their old cucumber soup with rice. I find the plain rice was hard and difficult to swallow. Their old cucumber soup doesn't have the taste of cucumber at all. In fact,it taste abit sour for my soup. Never finish the soup in the end,it was awfully bad. The old cucumber was not well cook,it was hard, like chewing apples sad(( Overall,it was very very BAD for their soup. Never Ever think of trying their soup in the first place. huffy

Fattening but Delicious Smile Dec 28, 2010

Decided to try their pig trotter for lunch which they are famous for. The pig trotter was very soft and I presumed that they had cooked it for some times. Auntie gave generous amount of the trotter and gravy. It was so so nice in taste for the gravy as well as the trotter meat. Though it was very tasty and nice in taste, but at the same time,it was fattening as well. Can pamper yourself once in a blue moon but not too often for this dish.
