yummy cupcakes Smile Jul 04, 2013

Passed by twelve cupcakes and was attracted by the bright yellow cream that was offered as the special of the day. So I bought them all to try.
Mango, Cherry Chocolate, Nutella.

It's no doubt, they have one of the most moist cupcakes around. I love the cherry chocolate flavor because as you bite into the cake, you can get bits and pieces of cherry. It was so yummy.

The same goes for mango flavor. The mango bits were in the cake as well as the yellow cream. It was really good.

I say must try!

favourite yoghurt Smile May 27, 2013

I mentioned before I love frozen yoghurt, when I am at work, I will buy affordable brands from the supermarket here.
But when I am out and whenever I chanced on Yoguru, I will not hesitate to spend a few dollars for this very yummy tasting frozen yoghurt.
My favourite is their original flavor. I am very hooked to it's taste I have no idea why. Their toppings are all very fresh and taste really good. A few of the toppings I always have will be almond, granola and cranberry.

Day or night, their fruits always taste fresh. the almonds always crunchy.

Sweet young girls are serving you over the counter, they are mostly friendly and nice.

Go for it if you love frozen yoghurt too!

Heavenly tea break Smile May 23, 2013

It was tea time and I felt like splurging so I finally checked out Maison Kayser.
The cafe au lait was light and nice, the steamed milk added flavour and texture of the whole cup was so good.
I also ordered a tiramisu that tasted good, but nothing too extraordinary.
Lastly, I also got a chocolate eclair. It was just so heavenly to eat this eclair. Instead of filling it with custard, Maison Kayser had it filled with chocolate. It was just so pleasurable savouring every bit of it.

I ordered a curry rice, shio ramen set.
The salad was very tasty, it was served with sesame sauce. interesting.
The chawanmushi was bit too salty for my liking. we feedback to the restaurant staff and they agreed.
the curry rice was good...but nothing extraordinary.
lastly, the ramen in shio (salt) soup base. It was pretty perfect. broth was really tasty, the char siew.. was just too good.

I highly recommend this place for ramen and char siew lovers!

Salad and Wine Smile May 16, 2013

I was at an event in Hard Rock Cafe yesterday. They had launched Rock wines. It was very cool. Wines from California.

Tried all the reds available and highly recommend the Merlot. It was easy to drink, so great for starters. The blend was also not bad, worth a try.

Ordered their Hay Grill Chicken salad. This is one of my favourite salad from Hard Rock cafe. I love that their salad portion is very generous. There were enough green to fill me up. It's also very tasty with chicken cubes, avocado and pecan nuts.
