Actually I didn't know this restaurant closed till I surf net...

Is a memory dining over there... smile

It was a awesome day! I would recommend not to order the platters as their ala-carte dishes were finger licking good!!!
their finger foods like its fish/beef/chicken satays and platters are really good value...

The ambience was great, was a romantic evening as we chose to have our dinner in a hut style!! The ladies over there served us well and we did not have to wait long for the food..

Too bad they closed... sad

Its been quite a long while since I visited the place...On Saturday morning, we decided to go there for breakfast...

The kosong (plain) prata at Thasevi is slightly more crispy, smaller and firmer, the curry taste quite good and slightly less spicy...

The prata standard drop a lot and gotten more expensive as well...

For the service, I had a bad experience with their staff who was very rude, showing attitude which don't quite understand how to talk to a customer or even the basic politeness...

Swensens is the regular dining place for me and my cousin...It's just to satisfy our cravings for quality ice-cream...

As mentioned above, the ice-cream is the main draw of this restaurant...Their different chocolate ice-creams with various toppings are big in portions but actually, I guess the quality in swensen's is not much better now either, all over now is dropping...

Overall, the ice-cream was worth it....

Chinese Cuisine OK Jun 19, 2013

This restaurant was recommended by my sister. Their signature dish is definitely the Samsui Ginger Chicken which originated from the samsui women. Beautifully laid out on a plate with the much-acclaimed ginger in the centre. There is the accompanying sliced chilli and lettuce as well which is quite nicely done and the meat is pretty tender.

We also ordered another dish Beggar Pork Ribs: this was nice but somehow lacking in meat around the bones.

They also offer a pretty wide range of soups. Although their menu is a little on the pricey side, but it's definitely worth a try.

Spending per head: Approximately $22(Dinner)

I have eaten here COUNTLESS times, and I still love the tom yum soup is SUPERB, bursting with spiciness and sourness, just don't get it why is white in color... haha!! The soup is always served piping hot, THUMBS UP!!

We ordered our food swiftly since it wasn't as busy, our food arrived shortly after...ordered the Spicy Glass Noodles and Spicy Fried Noodles...

Both of the dish no much different, one of them are in fried type and other one is in soup...Both are super spicy!! Seafood was relatively fresh & not too stingy...nothing special...
