Korean cuisine (NTU) OK Dec 26, 2013
Categories : Korean | Food Court

This is one of the best korea stall you can find in NTU. The queue is forever the longest at cafe by the quad and if you didn't have a long lunch break, it is not recommended to queue for this stall. Their food is really nice, i am not a fan so korea food but i just suit my taste bud. The soup is also very spicy. I will recommend this dish to those who can really take spicy food. it costs me around $5, which it think is reasonable.

A taste of nanyang at ntu  OK Dec 22, 2013

Well, I decided to try a taste of nanyang at NTU as there wasn't a lot of choice available for dinner at south spine. I ordered their nasi lemak which is pretty expensive at $3.80. The rice was green in colour and was soft and chewy at the same time. There is a light coconut smell. The egg was cold and didn't ate the fish as there is too many bones in it. The chicken was a little too hard to bite.

During dinner, it is a very easy to get a seat.

Scoopz  OK Dec 21, 2013

I had ordered oreo cheese cake which costs $3.50 per slice. It was quite cheap indeed, however, the taste was terrible. The cheesecake's oreo isn't crispy and the quality of the cheese used for the cheesecake wasn't up to the standard. The place was quite noisy and it is hard to find a seat. However, the waitress that served us had a very good and polite attitude.

Astons at Resort World Sentosa  OK Dec 21, 2013

After visiting sea aquarium, we decided to have our lunch at Resort World Sentosa. After walking round and round, we selected astons as the price is quite reasonable and we can have a filling meal. What i ordered was rootbeer float, hickory BBQ chicken with potato salad and veggie garden. The root beer float cost 3.90 and the main dish cost 6.90 without GST and service charge. I think the with the change of chef, the cooking style and the food taste a little different. The chicken itself is overcooked and is slightly too hard to bite on. The veggies was a little too soggy than usual and the potato salad was too creamy. The root beer float was nice and they gave a very generous portion portion of the vanilla ice cream.

Bao Today at Vivo OK Dec 21, 2013

Categories : Chinese | Restaurant | Dim Sum

It was a Saturday morning when I was on the way with my friend to sea aquarium so we decided to have our breakfast at Vivo city first. So we decided to try Bao Today in food republic. The dishes we ordered are chee chiong fun, liu sha bao, porridge and bbq bun. The porridge was served hot and they are very generous with their ingredient. The chee chiong fun was one of the best there as it was soft and the sauce goes well with the chee chiong fun. However, it was not recommended to order the bun. I suspect the bun was left overnight and the texture was so hard to bite on. We spend less than 10 dollars per person for our breakfast which i think is fairly reasonable.
