green bean soup Smile Jun 09, 2013

This green bean soup is quite delicious, I like to eat any kinds of beans in dessert form.
Green bean soup is good for a hot day.
The amount of beans given is quite generous, I could enjoy beans in every mouthful, unlike some other stores which serve prolly just soup instead of bean soup.
The beans are cooked just nice, not too hard nor too soft, just the kind of texture and crunch I would like to have.
The soup is also just nice, not too sweet nor bland.

Mr Bean is my favourite chain for a soya bean drink fix.
Their soya bean drink is not like those bottled or coffee shop standard which taste very artificial and sometimes can be too sweet or too bland.
Their soya bean drink taste healthier, fresh and thick and is not too sweet.
I can really taste the real soya bean taste in every sip.
Their cheese pancakes taste average, skin is kind of thick and not much filling inside.

hokkien mee Smile Jun 08, 2013

Did not feel like eating outside thus I decided to take away fried hokkien mee for dinner at the hawker centre near my location.
The portion given was quite large and I tend to eat lesser for dinner thus I did not finish all up.
The ingredients given are quite generous too.
The proportion of thick bee hoon to mee is 3:2, but I would prefer equal amount though.
The wetness is just nice.

curry mutton Smile Jun 08, 2013

Curry, yummy, I love curry. Curry vegetable, curry mee, curry chicken, curry mutton, whatever curry, just serve them to me.
Since I like curry so much, how can I not order their curry mutton.
The curry is richer and thicker compared to those coffee shop standard, and goes especially well with pratas, not only the pratas sold in the restaurant, but any pratas.
The muttons are well cooked, tender and chewy.
Since the muttons are in bite sizes, pop one into your mouth and with one spoon of curry, yummy.

chocolate rice cream bun Smile Jun 08, 2013

This is my mum's favourite bread, she only likes this type of bread with chocolate rice on top, she says that without those chocolate rice, the bread will taste plain, especially since the cream inside the bread is not much. I quite like it too.
The chocolate rice toppings are quite generously sprinkled and spreaded, as you can see most of the top part are covered with chocolate rice, not bad.
When put in fridge for a day, the bread taste nicer because it becomes a little bit harder and this go well with the cream and chocolate rice.
