It's Anthony's 40th Birthday. We're supposed to meet for dinner at Mushroom Pot but his wife, EmilyL decided to plan a surprise celebration for him & requested for our help to execute the plan. EmilyL ordered food from thaitogo cos Anthony like Thai food. Tom Yum Seafood, which is sour & very spicy!Basil Minced Chicken is also very spicyStir Fried Long Beans is a sweet but a little hardHomemade FIsh Cake. Springy & niceThai Olive Fried Rice is nice too. With few sausages & cashew nuts at the side.

Went Tampines1 after work yesterday cos I'm supposed to meet up with EmilyG & Randy to ran some errands for EmilyL's surprised Birthday celebration for Anthony. While queuing at POSB ATM, something interesting caught my eye.

What's so interesting? It's Just Like it! I saw quiet a few people crowding at the counter while the staffs are blending something away behind the counter, so I decided to take a closer look

A closer look at the cafe and it reveals some Science formulas on the wall. Gas cylinders are also seen. Pretty blenders too!So I decided to give it a try while waiting for EmilyG & Randy. Bought Durian Durian & it's yummy. Creamy, thick & with lots of Durian bits! Smells very nice too when they're blending the ice cream

Met up with Angela & Ivy for the Night Festival @ Singapore National Museum. Angela suggested dinner at the Blackbird Cafe which s located at The Luxe, in-between Plaza Singapura & The Cathay.Seafood Chowder is creamy & full of ingredients! *portion is huge, so I suggest sharing itMussel Fritters is nice. It has the "oyster omelette" feelingMini Lamb Burger with Fries. The only complain is the portion is quite huge despite of being "mini". Lamb patty is nicely done & no smell. Pull Pork Sandwich with Fries. Pork is well marinated & nicely done. Juicy & tender. Coleslaw at the bottom of the pork gives the crunchy feel. Nice

It's the yearly 7th month praying at our facility. It's the first time we're doing praying at this new Changi facility.Fried Rice & Fried Bee Hoon. Surprisingly, this time round, the prawns are quite big pieceSweet & Sour Fish. Very thin batter & thick piece of fishButter Prawns - prawns are fresh & not very oily although it is battered with butterSweet & Sour Prawns - prawns are freshSiew Mai - big & meaty!Signature Curry Chicken - although it looks a little oily, but its very fragrant. Quite a lot of chicken and potato in the pot of curry.

Apart from the buffet spread, we also ordered the Huat Kueh, Roast Piglet, Roast Duck, Roast Chicken & Roast Pork.Huge Huat Kueh. Can you guess how heavy it is? It's 10kg! I didn't try the 3 roasted "animals" cos we do not have chopper in the office. I brought home all the 3 & the next day my sis brought it to work after the maid cook it with soy sauceRoast pork is good. Tender & the skin in super crispy!

Went for dinner after collecting our vouchers from OpenRice. We initially wanted Skinny Pizza but decided on Bangkok Jam cos I directed them to the wrong level =DSeafood Phad Thai $11.9 is quite delicious apart from the many beansprouts. Sam & Theresa finds it a little spicy & they almost choke on itThai Olive Fried Rice $11 is very nice I findSeafood Clear Tom Yum Soup $7.9 is quite a small portion, but ingredients are fresh & it's spicy! You might need to order more if you're intending to shareWe continued with desserts after polishing off the dishes. Red Ruby with Jackfruit & Coconut Ice Cream $7.5 is nice. Jackfruit & ice cream is sweet. Banana Tempura w/hot Caramel & Ice Cream. This is super sweet. From the ice ccream, to caramel down to banana are all sweet!
