Koo Kee Yong Tau Foo OK Jun 24, 2013
Categories : Singaporean | Chinese | Food Court | Noodles

I went to dine with my parents and decided to try out this yong tau foo. the queue was alright, waiting time also not very long. Ordered 2 sets, one is the normal yong tau foo another one is ma la. I think the soup it is a bit plain, would be better if it got more taste. The ma la one is still ok not spicy. The noodle is quite chewy, not those like sticky together. Overall, food is still not bad, can try again another time.

Jollibean OK Jun 18, 2013

Categories : Desserts and Cakes

Feeling a bit thirsty so decided to try out Jollibean soya bean milk, usually I will just order their pancake only as the pancake was their signature food. the working staff there was mostly aunties, so their action wont be speedy. Their Jollibean soya bean milk is quite a small cup. asked for a hot soya bean, surprisingly that it was still quite hot which i tot they will have it in slight warm. Overall taste is still not bad, not too sweet nor plain. But pricing is quite expensive.

Susan Chan Food 家乐小吃 OK Jun 18, 2013

Usually i will dine with boyfriend at another outlet instead of this, so we went to try out this outlet on a Friday night. The crowd was still manageable but seems like they are short handed service was quite slow. We went in and get a seats our self and placed a order. We ordered yang zhou fried rice and salted egg pork without bones.

Their fried rice is those normal taste, included ham egg beans etc. But their salted egg pork is quite disappointing, the salted egg is not enough and the sauce is a lot some parts of the pork is so plain. Maybe i will be back to try other dish.

Nasi Padang OK Jun 14, 2013

Categories : Malay | Coffeeshop | Rice

Went to Rivervale area again, and decided to try out other stalls. This time round, nasi padang. ordered the chicken which taste good, kang kong taste crunchy, while the sotong is a bit too dry. The chilli with the cuttle fish also taste delicious not too spicy still acceptable. worth to try out again another time but the pricing wise need to be revised again. Kind of expensive. This set cost $5.

Yong Tao Hu OK Jun 14, 2013

Categories : Chinese | Coffeeshop

Not sure what to have decided to have this for breakfast. Ordered yong tao hu and total it cost $3.30. The ingredients I chose was hot dog, kang kong, cuttle fish, fish ball, tao pok, yu piao and have it with kuay teow soup. The variety is not really that much. The pricing is still reasonable. Added in the chilli, not really very hot and spicy yet taste best. The soup base is simple but taste good and sweet.
