You can select the variety of side dishes to have with your the curry rice, my favourite being, 1 serving of Pork Chop and 2 servings of cabbage! The stall holders are very generous with their servings so be careful not to over-order!Although it looks all brown, gooey and sloppily mixed, it is simply one of the most divine meals that I will constantly crave for, that sometimes I go back once a month to satisfy my tastebuds!

The best thing? This plate cost me less than $5!

If you have been missing out on this plate of goodness, tonight will be a good time to try it out cause this place only close at 3.30am!

If memory serves me right, Saveur used to be located in a coffee shop just opposite Katong 112. The two young entrepreneurs have also been featured on TV before for their choice of serving quality French food in a Coffee shop.

Currently located at Purvis Street, this restaurant seems to be having a roaring good business!Comes in a petitel little cup and beautifully presented. Was a little too creamy and it came with a powdery after-taste.I would recommend this as one of the top dishes in the restaurant cause the beef was just so tender, juicy and well marinated. The potato gratin that came with it was fantastic too. Buttery fragrance and explosion in flavour which keeps you going bite after bite! 3 thumbs up!This is the signature dish of Saveur and I could easily tell why. The meat just slides off the bone with a gentle touch. A mouthful of duck, complemented with the mash potato and accompanying sauce is a match made in heaven.

Perhaps I havent got around trying too many duck confit, but this is really really good!Every restaurant will definitely have its hits and misses. This one is the miss.
Weird tasting and just… dont bother with it.Blood Orange jelly with Citrus fruits and Crisps littered around the dish. This was nothing to scream about. We called this the “Scam” cause its just jelly and fruits being displayed prettily.For chocolate lovers, the thicky fluffy creamy mousse littered with chunks of hazelnut and berries will be just for you. I kind of love how they plated it, not conventionally centralised with its eye catching explosive effect.

A casual gathering with friends brought us to Food For Thought, a little foodie place tucked away behind the Singapore Art Musemum.

Honestly I didnt expect much from the food and almost dismissed this place as one of those arty farty places which serve substandard food but use the ambience to make up for everything else.

But I am pleasantly surprise by the standards of the food in this place and their portions are humongous!You can see the portions are really big especially the Baby Back ribs! It has to share among all of us before it could be finished! For the price and taste of the food(which is really good), this is definitely a place I would recommend to those looking for a place to chill out at with good food.

If you are skeptical about the lack of diary products in the ice-cream, you will be surprised! You are not shortchanged on the taste but instead it comes with a more robust flavour which I presume is from the brown rice.

My personal favourite is the Green Tea flavour, which gave a grainy and a really delicate aftertaste in your mouth that feels super healthy and rich.

Complimentary Side Dishes that came with each main dish. You can ask for 1 extra serving at no cost.The surprising thing about this dish is that it came with Yam! I like yam so it was a nice surprise for me! It comes with 3 layer pork (3 Zam Ba). It is a tad too sweet and gooey for my liking. I havent tried any good Jajangmyeon, but likes just say that if it all taste like this, I wouldnt be going for it a second time.Over-floured (is there even such a word?) battered pork pieces which actually made us feel like we were eating fried dough. Super humongous big NO NO.Plentiful and taste pretty good too. One of the value worth item in Manna Story.
I wonder if it is just that Red Pig Korean Restaurant had been such a great place for me, this one pales soooo much in comparision. Cheaper by say 30% than Red Pig, but I will pay that extra 30% anytime to head back to Red Pig.
