Definitely a great starter to keep you wanting for moreWe ordered the chicken and mushroom version of the popular oyster mee sua and it is still yummy nonetheless! Chunkier with additional ingredients though!I never really like my food cold unless it is sushi/sashimi/salads or desserts? But this dish is definitely on the top of must-eats if you visit this cafe! Noodles drenched in peanut sauce and sprinkled with peanut bits and vegetable strips!We were puzzled by “Olive Leaf” cause it was definitely my first time hearing it. But it is just Olive fried rice which you can definitely get better ones else where e.g. Nahkon Kitchen.

So if you are looking for a interesting Taiwan cafe with mid-range prices to hangout with your friend, this is definitely one place you would want to try out! It is also a plus plus for you if you are a Jay Chou Fan, cause his music is always playing on the background!

It was ordinary in taste but generous in portions! We were even saying that it should be Prawn & Corn salad for the amount of corn which was thrown in!I love love love this dish out of everything else in the restaurant! The fillings were flavoursome and juicy and the meat was minced so well that it just breaks apart the moment bite into it!For garlic lovers (like me!), you can enjoy the thick, full flavoured pork bone soup of the Stamina ramen which comes with generous serving of vegetables and cha shu that literally melt in your mouth. 3 thumbs up!Om Nom nom.. Pretty good broth but stamina ramen is the definite winner in my mind!Definitely not a recommended item for me. The Cha Shu was dry and doesn’t really taste fantastic. Just a piece of pork to me honestly. Place your money else where for this one.

Sunday means a good day to travel for food! 

Instead of just settling lunch anywhere, we decided to brave the long queues at bishan's Ming Kee Chicken Rice to spoil our tastebuds.

Soft moist rice and succulent thick generous chunks of chicken, SGD 3.50 for a plate is a damn good price for it. 

I always try to resist taking on more rice than I should but Ming Kee's rice is so well buttered, fragrant and moist, I always end up grabbing one more bowl of rice for sharing. 

So if u are looking for a really good plate of chicken rice, you know where to go now!

We were given the Suribachi and Surikogi (the official name for the Japanese mortar& pestle) to prepare our sesame paste for our Ramen. Good activity to keep as entertained while we wait for our food!Toasted Seaweed, Chashu, Seaweed, Cloud Ear Mushroom, Mentaiko, Soft Boiled Egg.
This Ramen is sooo packed with the variety of ingredients in a thick flavorsome pork broth!

Tasted pretty good though the broth was a littttttlleee bit muted in taste, which would definitely taste better if it was enhanced.A generous serving of Ramen top with Half Boiled Eggs and Chashu, while being drenched with thick peanut sauce which was totally rich in flavor. This was quite a hit among us. The sauce can be quite overwhelmingly thick as you reach the end of the meal, so you probably wouldn’t be slurping it all upThis is soooooo good, I was wolfing down all of it like I haven’t eaten for 10 days.

A mix of sweet and spiciness in the brown sauce and the abundance of the cucumber strips to add to the cold ramen. This bowl of ramen is perfect for those who loves savory stuff. You should see how much I was gushing about this bowl of Ramen as I was eating it.

You know you have enjoyed yourself tremedously at a cafe when you actually bother to head over to its Facebook Page to “Like” it. That is Sunray Cafe for you! I had headed over after a swim with my fellow tam jiak friends to try out this cafe which is located at Brighton Crescent!The American breakfast is a pretty hefty portion for a girl, even for someone like me, who is a big eater. Sausages, bacon and that deliciously milky scrambled eggs sitting atop another scrumptious scone, this is one solid meal that will burst that button on your pants.Eggs Benedict were served atop scones, and that is truly one of the best combinations ever! I used to hate scones but this one was really really well done. Runny gooey york spilled over as I sliced into the egg, tells me it has been done to perfection.Mushroom and Bacon Risotto is a glorious sight for the cheesy carbo fan in me. I tried to resist the sin (trying to be on a diet here) but I think I plough my spoon through several times for this dish.

Liquid gold I tell you! It is so shiok that you would have to go down to try it yourself!
