The Iced Cappuccino is disappointing. The coffee was bland as the taste of the coffee was not strong, even the milk taste wasn’t apparent.The Flat White's blend came from Toby’s Estate, so you know what to expect. Great coffee!The Roasted New Potatoes with Rosemary and Romesco Sauce was well sauteed and roasted to perfection, its enough to be eaten on its own. Have it, however, with the Romesco sauce for a mild spicy and tangy taste.The Spatchcock Chicken is a chicken that had their backbone removed so that it can be flattened before roasting it with lemon & thyme, garlic & shallots, verjus & Creme Fraiche sauce. This resulted in a crispy skin and each piece of chicken tasting juicy and flavourful. It is one that must be ordered here!The Red Velvet Cake had disappointed a bit. The cake did not crumble easily, the taste of the cake were alright, but the taste of butter/cheese was in near absence in the cream used. Nonetheless, the quantity was enough to delight both of us.

The Chocolatey Kit-Kat (classic) & a Hazel’s Nut (connoiseur) on a Monster Cone was a nice choice. The Chocolatey Kit-Kat had bits of kit-kat on it, making the ice cream feel crunchy and at the same time blend into the chocolate taste. Hazel’s Nut is a great combination of chocolate and hazelnut flavours with chocolate-coated hazelnut biscuits added in. I could not taste as much biscuit though the strong flavour of the chocolate-hazelnut ice cream quickly dispelled that thought.The Om-nom-nom is a sundae which was part of a selection that was released only recently. It was slightly too sweet for a liking.

Renamed as Menya Koji as of now, it continues to offer the same menu under Daikokuya.

The Cha Shu Shoyu Ramen ($15.80++) was slightly more saltier than the other shoyu ramens I have eaten but it doesn’t affect the texture of the ramen.The Salmon Carpaccio ($8.80++) is a great thumbs up. The salmon blended with the Italian dressing is a great combination as the taste of the salmon along with the slightly spiced Italian dressing can be felt.The Agedashi Tofu ($4.80++) was not too bad, although nothing surprising also.The Tonkatsu Curry Rice ($15.80++) was not bad but the meat was rather stiff although it was crispy.The Shiratama Cream Zenzai ($5.20++) is a red bean dessert filled with glutinous rice balls topped with a vanilla ice cream, is recommended for anyone with a sweet tooth. Remember to mix a bit of ice cream with the red beans with every mouthful!

I had Mocha Macnut (mocha ice cream with white chocolated coated macadamia and almond nuts) and Milk Ice Cream. The Mocha Macnut tasted more chocolatey and the bits of crunchy macadamia and almond nuts made it even nicer. The Milk Ice Cream was full on milk flavour. Nothing else to describe it although it lacks behind other places which offered similar milk flavours which tasted more concentrated.

The Salted Caramel was rather salty for a liking.The Milk Chocolate White Miso started out rather sweet and milky but then the salty taste kicked in after that.The Lychee Rose is probably the better macaron I have ever eaten. It is sweet with very noticeable taste of lychee and rose. For someone who likes sweet stuffs, this fits perfectly into the picture.The Salted Hazelnut is also very nice. The hazelnut taste was very distinct and was less salty.
