Fried Fish Soup with Rice. It was a pretty normal fish soup at a reasonable price ($4.5 with kopitiam card, additional 10% discount). It comes with fried fish, fried egg crust (nice, just that some people might find it quite oily ), seaweed and vegetable. Portion wise is quite decent. However do take note there might be crowds there during lunch hours, my friend and I went at about 2pm and took about 20mins to get a seats.

Ban Mian At JEM, Canteen by Koufu

Price: $4,
Portion: was well served, definitely sufficient to fill you tummy.
Description: Ban Mian Soup, comes along with minced meat, egg, green leafy vegetables (she gave me quite a lot). Noodles was well cooked, meat did cook thoroughly (I did ate a few stores where their minced meat was half cooked). I would say it is like the most ban mian out there, however if you happen to have cravings for ban mian at jurong east, that could be one of your choice!

Fried Rice at coffee express OK Jul 28, 2013

Was studying in NLB therefore decided to checkout the fried rice over there.

Fried Rice from the stall right at the end.

The taste of the fried rice was average. the portion was just right. however too much rice with too little cha siew and prawn, almost cant find them. added a additional fried egg (he bao da) for 50cent. the fried rice cost $4. quality wise, i wouldn't recommend it, however if you are going for large portion to fill ur stomach then this might be one of the choice.

Lunch w class OK Jul 28, 2013

Lunch with classmates and my indo classmate decided to recommend us this place as we cant decide where to eat.

So I ordered Ayam Penyet, as recommended by my friend.

I would say the portion is just nice for guys but might be alittle too much for ladies. the Chicken thigh was good, the skin/crust of it tasted alittle sweet w salty, texture wise was tender w a little hardness in it. Rice was normal. The chill wise I not sure as I am not really a fan of chilli, however judging from the amount of chilli 2 of my friends ate, i suppose the chilli was good. soup wise, personally i find it weird, prolly its some kind indo cusine to have sweet soup? it tasted sweet and wasnt really hot/warm. hmm not my "kind of soup" i would say.

Dinner!  OK Jul 27, 2013

Ordered a set of wanton noodles (comes with a drink(choice of drinks: water chestnut, lemonade)), there is another set which comes together w deserts.
The wanton noodle was good (texture of noodles was almost just nice), however for the wanton some people might find the fillings to little. the choice of sauces for the noodles are dark sauce, tomato sauce and chilli sauce. I preferred the dark sauce one for this case. I had water chestnut for drink, it was nice and refreshing. for people who preferred a little "soury" drink then lemonade might be a good choice.
