Located at ION Orchard level four, Paradise Dynasty is very highly accessible with the MRT exit at level one and several bus stops in the nearby vicinity. On top of that, there are about 650 parking lots (Source from Wikipedia ) available in the mall for the shoppers who drive.

Upon stepping into the restaurant, you will feel as if you are teleported back to the era of Imperial China with one of the highlight of the renovation om the magnificent dragon centerpiece on the ceiling. Although the restaurant's renovation highly emphasized on creating imperial china feel, they are using cushioned dinning chairs. Thus you can assured to be enjoying the food and renovation here without compromising with awful seatings.

Japanese Cucumber in Garlic ($4.80) is crunchy and very garlicky. On top of that, it's also very refreshing and appetizing. IMO it's a very good starter to order.

Drunken Chicken ($8.80) is another very good appetizer to have. However do note that this dish is served cold. Personally I like this a lot as the chicken is well marinated with shaoxing wine. On top of that, it is not too salty.

Sauteed Shredded Pork ($12) is served with some crepes and leeks for us to wrap and eat with them. Personally I feel that it's best eaten that way too as eating it as an individual dish might be too salty. However when eaten with the crepes and leeks, the sauteed pork compliments with the condiments and made it a very tasty dish to have. On top of that, there are no porky pig smell which is a big big bonus for selective pork eater like me.

A meal at Dynasty Paradise would never be completed without these colourful xiao long baos. At $13.80 for 8 assorted flavours (black truffle, foie gras, garlic, ginseng, cheese, Szechuan, crab roe & original ), I highly recommend this to anybody who has yet to try the xiao long baos. After that, you can order the flavours that you like with a choice of 6 or 10 of them at a price starting from $6.80. On top of that, the xlb skin here is thin and yet does not break easily. IMO xlbs here are very flavourful and unique. Personally I like the szechuan a lot as it's pink and has this peppercorn aroma yet it's only mildly spicy.

Services here are really good. We ordered Szechuan La Mian ($8.50) to share. Not only did the service crew helped us to portion out the la mian nicely, they have also offered to help us cut the la mian for easier consumption. The la mian is handmade thus it's springy ( QQ) and with the shredded cucumber, which added some crunchiness, I feel that it's good as a meal on its own if you are not sharing.

Pan fried pumpkin cake ($3.60) is chewy and the sweetness is just right. A recommended dessert to finish up the meal if your stomach still have some space. =)

Overall I think Paradise Dynasty is worth to go back as the service here has improved since the last time i went. On top of that, the quality of the food here is also very consistent. So do give it a try if you have not done so. =)

For a lot of cafe hoppers, I am sure you have some impression of this very beautiful theme cafe at Hotel Rendezvous named Fullhouse cafe. However the cafe has ceased the business due to some management issue earlier this year. I don't know about you but I was very disappointed when it did as I really love the princessy brightly lit cafe. Good news for me that it has made a coming back at Clarke Quay.

Located at Clarke Quay (the first block on the left after you cross the Read Bridge) is easily access via MRT(Clarke Quay MRT and future Fort Canning MRT) and other public transport.
Once you come out of the lift at level 2, you will be greet by the lovely Fullhouse family (4 mascots) : Thomas(Dad), Tracy(mum), Tony(son) and Tiffani (daughter).
Retaining some of the Korean princessy decoration from previous cafe, Fullhouse signature is has also added other deco that are fixed up by the restaurant manager and owner. On top of the "dinning room", there are also a place for you to chill, dating and even a bridal room where you can try out & buy the gowns here!
There is also a stage in the "living room" where you can hold small party, solemnisation, corporate events or other events and gatherings.
Cream of Forest Mushroom

Cream of Forest Mushroom

First dish oof the night is Cream of forest mushroom ($9). This is one of the best that I have had beside those homecooked ones. It is creamy and thick with lotsa mushrooms bits. Definitely a perfect combi with the complimentary garlic bread that comes with the soup.

Fullhouse Ravioli ($25) is one of Fullhouse signature. Please don't get intimated by the huge ravioli. They are actually stuffed with prawns, squids and spinach. Oven backed with cheese on top. =)

Braised Lamb Shank ($29) here is served in a relatively huge portion. I would recommend 2 to share. The lamb shank is first simmered in red wine jus and served with mashed potato and vegetable. Personally I like the lamb shank as the meat is really tender and the gaminess of the lamb wasn't overwhelming. Thus I highly recommended this dish for all mutton lovers.

Banana Paradise ($9) is crispy on the outside and with the soft sweet banana on the inside served with homemade vanilla ice cream. Personally I feel that it is ang moh version of goreng pisang, do give it a try if you are a goreng pisang lover to see whether this is better than the usual ones you had.

Molten Chocolate Cake ($9) is one of the highlight of the night. Most of the girls love molten chocolate cake isn't it? The chocolate cake is rather intense in the chocolate taste (in the good way) . It paired quite well with the homemade vanilla ice cream and best of all the strawberry are very sweet. =)

Overall it was a good dinning experience with heaps of photo taking. I would highly recommend this place for girls night out, romantic dinner, gathering and chillout. On top of that, there are also several tables with view of the clarke quay Read bridge. Do make reservation if you want any special sitting arrangement.

Great place to chill Smile Nov 04, 2013

Although located in the atrium where there are many cafés and such, dr cafe is not to be missed. Beside having great service here, there are comfortable seatings, free wifi and power points if you need to power charge your gadgets. On top of that, it is not too crowded and the drinks and food here are relatively affordable.
I ordered 1 cookie frappe($7.50). It is not too sweet and it has cookie chips in it. Thus you can literally taste the cookie while having your coffee.

Interesting nostalgic cafe  OK Nov 01, 2013

Once you stepped in to the cafe, you will be greeted with warm friendly smile from the staff here while they show you to your table. I was rather intrigued by their tables. It is made with folding table legs with glass top and metal skirting. On top of that, there are metal tins used as cutlery holders and vintage cup for the sugar cubes.

Beside the comfy nostalgic setting, there are also free wifi here. So good for anybody who needed internet connection for their IT gadgets.

I ordered a butter croissant ($2.50) and a chicken mozzarella sandwich ($14), in total I spent $16.50. The butter croissant was served hot with a very beautiful vintage looking chinaware. I was told it was homemade by one of their pastry supplier and I love the buttery taste that it left in my mouth.

The chicken mozzarella sandwich was not bad. The bread was toasted with the outside slightly crispy but the inside was a bit soggy. I like the flavorful grilled vegetables and with the smoked paprika aioli, the chicken chucks tasted great. However this sandwich can be a little bit messy to be eaten and portion is a bit small.

Overall I feel that it was a good cafe to bring a book and spend your day away as it is a very cosy and quiet place. On top of that, service here is remarkable with a lot of smiles. Best of all, there is no service charge or GST. However as it's a new establishment, thus the items on the menu I feel is quite limited. Mostly there are only sandwiches, salads and some desserts on the menu. I do hope to see more mains coming up. =)
