Can't say no to this! Smile Oct 19, 2013

A good duck rice much determined by the tenderness and tastefulness of the duck. Chuan Kee has accomplished the requirements with their secret recipe, producing the duck meat that was tendered with a salivating flavourful seasoning. Each piece of the duck meat was skillfully sliced to have the same thickness that is perfect for the bite.
Everything was yummy!

Heaven on a plate! Smile Oct 12, 2013

Changi Village food centre has a few famous Nasi Lemak stalls that have its own loyal fans and followers. One of them is the Sri Sujana Nasi Lemak stall. Despite the fierce competition, the Nasi Lemak has the capability to mimic it’s strongest competitive position in the food centre. We are truly impressed with the rice that each grain carries a very nice and irresistible fragrance of coconut milk and pandan aroma that distinct from the rest, the rice is cooked to the right texture coupled with the well-prepared sambal chili, eggs, ikan billis with peanut and the mouth watering chicken wings making the Nasi Lemak extraordinarily flavourful.

Soft Tender Pork Ribs to die for Smile Oct 12, 2013
Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
Categories : Singaporean | Teochew | Chinese | Hawker Centre | Noodles

We decided to go for the most popular pork ribs noodle. The noodle was so-so, it was the pork ribs that many will die for. The pork ribs were braised in rich and well-seasoned flavourful gravy for many hours, so as to achieve the ultimate tenderness and the full absorption of the essence from the gravy. The hours of cooking softened the pork ribs so that the meat practically falls off freely from the bone when bitten, so soft that even the bone can be eaten without too much of an effort chewing. The pork ribs were simply tantalizing with its palatable and aromatic flavours by the piquant gravy.

Egg Tarts: Smooth and Silky! Smile Oct 12, 2013

Categories : Cantonese/Hong Kong | Bakery

I wouldn’t say that the egg tart is extra phenomenal and out of the world, however it definitely is worth the try if you’re big on flaky crusted egg tarts. Once again, a huge thumb up for Tong Heng when it comes to preserving the tradition, delicacies like this are getting harder to obtain by the minute. The egg tarts are also reasonably priced at $1.40 a piece, head down to the stall if you’re round the corner!

Yum Cha Garden Restaurant  Smile Nov 08, 2014
Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
Categories : Thai

The first impression on Yum Cha Restaurant is a typical Hong Kong Style restaurant serving Hong Kong dim sum. Over the years, Yum Cha Restaurant has evolved and developed into a full fledged Chinese restaurant serving many unique dishes. The food review invitation was part of the efforts to create the awareness on their series of revamped menu.
Our verdict, Yum Cha has several good new dishes that worth to try; we highly recommend the Promfet Tapino, Dim Sum, Fried rice and Desserts. Yum Cha is certainly a good place for dining with family and friends with its good food and reasonable price.
Please refer to www.ieatandeat.com for details review.
