First time at grub and i was here due to my friends recommendation. I have read online reviews and it has pretty good reviews too. Grub is located at bishan park which is a nice place to dine at after strolling in the park. I have ordered soup of the day which is cream of mushroom and it taste rather mediocre. nothing's bad about it but nothing fantastic about it too.

For my main, i had grub cheeseburger for sgd $13++ which consists of freshly minced beef patty and fries.
The dish is also quite average and to me the portion is too small. the beefy is fresh but it could have been more well flavored.

The ambience of the cafe is quite vibrant there. Overall, i find that grub is rather overrated by its online reviews. would not specially return to grub unless i happened to be at bishan park.

specially came to this lavender hawker to try this very famous ba chor mee.

do be prepared to queue if you are coming down. my friends and i queue for about 30minutes at around 630pm.

and is it really worth the wait? to me, not really. their noodle is quite average but i gotta say the ba chor, wanton and "zhu gan" is really fresh and nice. however, $5 for a hawker ba chor mee is rather expensive. will not specially go down just for it due to the long queue too.

I have ordered smoked salmon eggs benedict (Sgd $16++)

Personally i feel that the dish is pretty average and the portion is rather small. The bread was abit soggy and the salmon could be more flavored. However the poached egg was nicely done.

I quite like the ambience there as it gives me a coZy feeling. May return again and try some other dishes.

My friends suggested to come to this place for brunch. Unfortunately brunch ended 12pm on tues - sat as shown in the menu.
So we could only order from the lunch menu. I had aglio olio which is pretty normal. The flavour was not rich enough mayb due to the lack of the olive oil. And usually i like it with prawns.
we also ordered truffle fries to share and the truffle taste wasnt strong enough.

Overall the quality of the food is pretty average.
But me and my friends rather like the ambience of the restaurant. Very relaxing and nice place to catchup with friends

Bought a groupon deal for llaollao at $5.50 for Two Medium Tubs of Natural Frozen Yogurt which is worth $11 (50% discount). It is a relatively new american cafe so i guess they had some promotion going on at groupon. for the deal i purchase, i can only choose flavors such as mango, strawberry, caramel and original. I have chosen strawberry and original flavor and they were both not bad. the yogurt has this nice milky taste which isnt too plain nor thick. i kinda like it. also they always claim that the original (natural) flavor is a healthier choice with less calories. the one with strawberry flavoring was a bit too sweet to my liking, but the taste of the yoghurt still balance it well.

Overall, i think for $5.50 for 2 medium tubs, it is quite worth it. however, without the dela from groupon, i would find that $5.50 for a medium tub is abit too pricey
