Sesame oil chicken vermicelli

Sesame oil chicken vermicelli

Passed by this restaurant which is next to the ice skating rink. Sometimes quite packed during lunch time but at 4+ there is no queue, so decided to try it. shocked

Ordered the sesame oil chicken vermicelli. The soup is very oily and seems like the entire vermicelli is soaked in OIL. The soup or OIL is served luke-warm with some sides which doesn't taste good either. It is too greasy and i couldn't finish it.

The mango ice was slightly better with generous amount of mango flesh and jelly. Well at least this mango dessert was used to wash down the greasy chicken vermicelli. sad

Fruit Tart Smile Sep 24, 2013

If you are a fan of fruit tart, Fruit Paradise is a MUST go place!! After trying their fruit tart once, i fell in love with them! The tart is freshly made and has a great combination of sweetness and sourness from the fruits. Personally, I love their mango and strawberry tart. This crepe tart is new in their menu, hence i gave it a try. The thin layers of crepe together with the cream melts in the mouth and it taste lovely with a cup of freshly brew flower tea.

Their flagship store is at Vivo City however the space is quite cramp and usually packed. This outlet at Plaza Singapura is spacious. It is a great place for afternoon tea with a bunch of friends.

Ramen Santouka serves one of the best ramen in town. This outlet is always filled with hungry-goers and by 7pm every evening, you have to start queuing. There are a few types of soup bases and all of them are very tasty! I personally like the spicy soup base! Howevdr today i am going to introduce their cold ramen. Happen to see a promotion in one of the coupon deals website. So bought it and and give it a try. This cold ramen is QQ and not over cooked. However the sauce is abit salty, hence do not drink it! The garnishes are separated but i mixed them all into my cold ramen and it is delicious! =)

Tasty Lo Mee Smile Sep 23, 2013

It is always great to have some warm and comfort food like a bowl of Lor Mee for breakfast! This stall is one of the few stalls that still sells $2.50 for a bowl of Lor Mee. There is also $3 option whereby there is more ingredient. But i think $2.50 is suffient to fill ones stomache. The gravy is thick and flavourful after adding garlic and chili paste and lots of black vinger. Yum yum!!

All time favourite!! Smile Sep 18, 2013

Chili's is one of our all time favourite dining place! Big portion of food at resonable prices. We will always order their pulled pork. It is very juicy with smoke bbq flavour. Each serving portion comes with generous amount of fries. There are a few new item added into the menu and we decided to try. The one we ordered is chicken breast with cheese on top with 2 sides of your choice. The chicken breast is not dry as expected, surprisingly it is quite tender. But the flavour of the entire dish is not as strong as the pulled pork. As for drinks, it is very worth to order the 'bottomless' drinks as it is free flow.

Overall it is a good place to chill and have yummy food!
