Roland Restaurant is da BEST place to enjoy Chili Crab!! The chili crab is fresh, big and sweet. The sweet and spicy gravy is thick and mouthwatering with lots of eggs. The Pomfret in 2 Ways is another highly recommended dish. One side is deep fried with superior sauce, while the other side is stir fried with broccoli. The fish is fresh and luscious. The Crispy Chicken in 2 Styles is one dish that Roland Restaurant invented. The chicken skin is spread with minced prawn paste while the chicken meat is cook with salted egg. Delicious!

River Safari is one of Singapore's newest tourist attractions. Is it located beside the Singapore Zoo. The admission tickets are currently at a discounted price because a portion of the attraction, Amazon Boat Ride, is not ready. Viewing of Giant Panda does not require booking anymore.

Mama Panda Kitchen is located near the Gift Shop after the Giant Panda boardwalk. They sell adorable Panda Steam Buns in 2 flavors - red bean and chocolate custard. The Panda Steam Bun is soft and fluffy and the filling is not very sweet. But the filling is quite little I also ordered a Salted Pepper Chicken dish as finger food. I was quite disappointed, no effort at all. It is like some frozen chicken which i can get it from NTUC, fry it then sprinkle some salt and pepper over it. Wasted $6.90 over it...

Have not been the Singapore Zoo for a long time. Since its a beautiful day, I decided to go there with love. There were quite a few changes compared to my last visit. It was around 1pm and our stomach were growling. We chose local delights over fast food so we settled at Ah Meng Restaurant. I ordered a Nasi Lemak with Baked Chicken, hoping that it will taste great simply because these foods represents Singapore and the Singapore Zoo is a tourist attraction. But... ... i was very disappointed the baked chicken was cold and tasteless, the rice is not fragant at all and the sambal is not nice either. There is nothing to recommend about. As a Singaporean, i am really ashamed to introduce theses local delights to tourist.

Apart from serving awesome Chili Crabs, Roland Restaurant also serves Dim Sum! Only during weekends and public holidays they have Dim Sum in push cart moving around the restaurant and they also serves special dishes like Vinegar Pig Trotter and XO Carrot Cake. The Vinegar Pig Trotter is not too sour and the pig trotter is not too fatty. The XO Carrot Cake is slightly salty, may be because of the ‘cai por’, but I like it. I also ordered Har Gao, Siew Mai, Pork Rib from the push cart. They are all pretty good and I highly recommend the pork rib. It is well marinated and a little spicy with some yam cube.

Displays of these donuts are very attractive and I simply can’t resist buying them for breakfast. Unlike conventional donuts, these donuts are CHEWY and QQ. Each donuts are filled with sweet are creamy fillings. There is also miniature version, delightful yet not filling. I tried the Strawberry Cheese and was totally in love with it. It has the sweetness from the strawberry jam and saltiness from the cheese. Lovely combination!
