So-so Seafood Ee Mee OK Nov 24, 2013   (Related Review)

Apart from delicious Ke Kou Mian at a reasonable price, this stall also sells Porridge and Seafood Ee Mee. Have yet to try their Porridge but just tried their Seafood Ee Mee today. For around $3.50, you will get 2 medium sized prawns, lots of cuttlefish, small pieces of fish and an egg. Although there are a lot of ingredients, the soup is a bit bland.

First and last time Cry Nov 24, 2013

Categories : American | Steaks and Grills

I have never eaten steak from Jack’s Place. So I decided to give it a try at the turf city branch. This will be the first and definitely the last I will have steak in Jack’s Place. The steak has tendons all over it. I could not slice the steak through cleanly with the knife. The black pepper sauce was not tasty at all. The only nice thing on the plate was the steamed potato topped with sour cream sauce, bacon bits and spring onion.

Spending per head: Approximately $30(Dinner)

My Favorite Pig's Organ Soup Smile Nov 24, 2013

Cheng Mun Chee Kee Pig’s Organ Soup is one of my favorite comfort food in Singapore. Walk towards the order station, state your order, indicate your table number and wait for your orders to be served. They have recently opened up another area for dining hence there are plentiful of space. For $3.70, you will get a piping hot soup filled with pig’s organ. It is pepper and yet not overly salty. Best of all, you can refill your soup when it is running low!

Expensive Dim Sum!!! Cry Nov 24, 2013

I was introduced by a friend to Victor's Kitchen for some Dim Sum. There is very limited selection in their menu as most items are crossed out. The place is packed with people and is small and cramp. We waited for nearly half an hour for our food. Oh my god, their so called famous salted egg yolk bun is so oily. Their other items are quite standard. Also their prices are at the steep side, definitely not worth of the food quality. huffy

One special thing worth mentioning is that they served their milk tea differently. Instead of putting the ice inside the cup, it is outside in a bowl and the cup of milk tea in the bowl above the ice.

Cozy Japanese Restaurant Smile Nov 24, 2013

Categories : Japanese | Sushi/Sashimi

Sangokai Japanese Restaurant is a petite restaurant located at Beach Road. You will be greeted by friendly staffs once you stepped into the restaurant. There are a variety of foods in the menu, from sashimi to cooked food. I ordered a grilled salmon with mentai sauce which comes with rice, soup, salad, sides and fruits. The salmon is perfectly cooked and the rice is moist and delicious.
