BBQ CHICKEN  OK Dec 25, 2013

Previously really love the ebi burger... but sadly they are no longer available here! Here come the kampung chicken burger.. Don't really like the taste of the sauce, and the pineapple. As compared to the previous ebi burger, this kampung burger is disappointing.

I love the bbq chicken. Though I still prefer mcwing. But the bbq chicken is still quite juicy and tasty! YUMMY! I think it taste better than pizza hut sweet and spicy drumlet. Both taste abit similar though.

Ever since hello kitty arrived at breadtalk. I have found new interest in breadtalk again. Since breadtalk have been around for many years, the purchases over the years dropped gradually. But as my favourite hello kitty can be found at breadtalk now... so I shall splurge on them again!

Those hello kitty bread, cake is so cute! Tried the forever together hello kitty and Daniel cake $5.60. The chocolate was nice and cake is soft. I prefer the chocolate one.

Breadtalk Kitty in wonderland. So cute hello kitty. S$2.80. I dun really like danish.. but because it is hello kitty so bought it. Not bad.. I like the cream and the white chocolate hello kitty.

Yummy Kueh!  Smile Dec 25, 2013

Always wanted to try them when I passed by, as those kueh etc look very colourful and pretty! As we went there at around 8pm, hence most of the item was sold out. Hence we only tried two items.

The staff provide us with information about what is the ingredients of the kueh. Kueh Dadar and Ondeh Ondeh.. Both have generous filling! I prefer kueh dadar dadar, like the coconut in it.. but it would be better if it is sweeter. But good for those that don't like sweet stuff.

Recommended Dish(es):  Kueh dar dar

Not bad laska with our groupon  OK Dec 25, 2013

Categories : Singaporean | Malaysian | Restaurant | Halal | Noodles

Spent a good day with friends.

Bought $10 for $20 groupon. Finally tried laksania, as I find the original price kind of steep for a normal bowl of laska.

Tried the Singapore Laksa, taste not bad, but I prefer the laska gravy to be thicker and richer favour.

I also tried their vegetarian laksa goreng that taste better than the normal laska, but kind of dry. It would be better if there is some moist in it.

The environment is quite stuffy!

Categories : Teochew | Dim Sum

Used my $30 for $60 groupon. The har gao is nice, translucent skin with succulent prawn. All dim sum is quite good except the steam teochew dumpling with peanut in it..

The baked bbq bun is nice but quite small. Their signature teahouse chee cheong fun with scallop and prawn is very nice and special, there is a crispy layer covered by steam layer of the chee cheong fun... fried item is not bad too.. Hot and fresh.

Braised efu noodles with abalone sauce.. I like the veg, I like this simple dish.. S $14...

S $18. Prawn and glass noodles claypot.. tasty but as they halved the prawn so it is not so nice.. would prefer to ask not to halved the prawn.. nicer to eat whole prawn.. The glass noodles abit dry and some stick to the claypot.

Spending per head: Approximately $16(Lunch)
