We decided to get the basic prata to try, and on ordering, we were informed that they do not take order for only one prata. There is a minimum order of 2 prata, so the cheapest option would be $2.00 for two plain prata. We decided to get one plain prata and one egg prata instead, which they accepted.
The plain prata was quite crispy and we were pleasantly surprised to find that it didn't taste oily at all. On the contrary, it was almost quite dry. Taste-wise, this was pretty nice although I personally wasn't fond of the fish curry, which I found to be too sour for my liking although it was quite spicy.
We thought an extra $1 for the extra egg was a little pricey, but this was slightly bigger and softer than the plain prata due to the egg and was also a tiny bit more chewy. Like the plain prata, this wasn't oily either but slightly dry.
Overall, the prata were decent and I personally preferred the plain prata over the egg prata for the extra crispiness. We both liked that these prata weren't greasy. However, I can't help but feel a tad ambivalent about them imposing a minimum order quantity for the prata.
