This is one of the two most famous chicken rice as recommended by tour guide but it turned out to be just pass.
I came here alone and so, I could only order a chicken rice. They've give me chicken breast. Chicken is just so so. Not tender enough. On the other hand, I quite like the rice as it's ginger rice.
With one barley drink, it costs me around S$10 for the lunch. Given this price, I could only give it a pass. If one don't mind about the environment, I'd definitely recommend the other restaurant inside hawker centre.

Food prepared by heart Smile Dec 03, 2013

First time coming here was because if its "no GST" slogan. A 2 course lunch with drink just costs S$15 and if you pay for another S$4, you can have everything including appetizer, main and dessert. Despite the price, food are of high quality. You can feel that they really prepare food with their heart. I've had a beef salad and a linguine. The salad is a very nice dish. From the ingredient to the decoration. Far more then a "salad come with the lunch set". And the linguine is so creamy that totally satisfy a cheese friend like me.
I've then visited again for dinner twice. Mushroom soup is a must. Spring chicken, duck confit are also of high quality. It's around S$30-50 per head for dinner.
Even the tea they serve surprised me. I like the lavender earl grey a lot which add a bit of pleasant favor to the stubborn earl grey.
The only thing is that it takes a bit of time to wait for the food as they every single dish are prepared delicately. You won't complain when you see the dish.

Visited this restaurant with hubby the other night. Locaton and the humble outlook of this restaurant makes it not so eye catching at the very first place but it turned out to be a surprise.
We originally intended to order grilled fish and grilled chicken but the waiter proposed us to try sth else rather then having both grilled dish. So we've changed to curry chicken based on his suggestion.
I like curry but can't stand with spicy food, this curry chicken is just right.
Highlight is the grilled fish. It's a bit sweet and tasty which makes it suitable to be served with the ginger rice.
Last but not least, the good service here is also impressive.
This would be a good choice if you don't want to cook.
