We were here on a Thurs evening and it was full house with quite a number of people in the queue. It was supposedly a 50 min wait for me, but I got a table after just 10 mins!




I got the Roasted Pistachio for myself and the flavour was pretty intetesting! It tasted like fried garlic chips which I quite liked. What I really liked was the waffle! It was crisp yet fluffy and really fragrant. I could just have the waffle alone with some maple syrup and it'll still be super satisfying!

The first time I had the buffet at Tung Lok I remember the food to be pretty good. I also liked how there were many many choices for us to choose from the menu. Hence, I decided to bring my parents there to try it out. The sambal clams while yummy, did not seem to be very fresh. Most of the clams in the plate had their shells closed, which only means that they had gone bad. The worse thing is that they still served it to us.The pig trotters vinegar wasn't in the buffet menu, but somehow the staff shared with us that we could order it at no extra cost. It was my first time having this dish and I quite liked the vinegar taste. The thought of it is making me salivate now The only downside was that it's really really oily.The deep-fried salmon skin was nice and crispy and was great as a snack. It was so easy to lose count of how much you've had because you'll just keep reaching for one after another munching on them The portion was really generous too.The assam gravy was slightly thick, and the colour was a bright orange. The portion of the fish was just right, not too big so that we could still have enough room in our stomach for the other dishes. The vegetables in this dish was also well-cooked, soft but not too much so.  The salmon sashimi slices were big and thick, and they were fresh too. This is another dish that you can just keep ordering to satisfy your craving for salmon sashimi!

There were also plenty of other yummy dishes so if you're looking for affordable quality Chinese food with a wide variety of dishes, this is the place to go!

Riverwalk Tandoor offers a buffet of more than 10 different kinds of Indian dishes and curries.

There was papadum, an Indian cracker that I love. But because they were left in the open and weren't covered, they softened really quickly There was vegetable soup, and also sliced raw vegetables such as radish, tomato, cucumber, carrot & onion, and yoghurt and mint sauce. For the carbs, there was biryani, steamed rice and naan.

For the main dishes and curries, there was mutton, fish and two chicken dishes, and the rest were vegetarian. I had the mutton curry which was not bad, while the chicken tandoori was a little dry and tough. For the vegetarian dishes, I had snakeguard curry, cottage cheese and potato curry, and another dish of spinach and kang kong cooked till soft. Overall I liked the vegetarian dishes a lot more. There was also this crispy thing as appetizer which was really nice. Not too sure what exactly it was.

To end off the meal, there were assorted cut fruits like watermelon, papaya, honey dew, and 2 kinds of dessert - a sweet milky liquid with beehoon-like strands and pastry balls soaked in syrup. The pastry balls were extremely sweet.

I've had their beef noodles before which were great. Though I wanted to order it again, I was tempted to try the Rice Vermicelli with Deep-Fried Soft Shell Crab. I was really glad it turned out equally yummy!


This noodle dish is a dry one, with a thin sauce served on the side for you to pour in and mix with the noodles. The portion of the sauce was just right to ensure that all then noodles were nicely coated in the it. The sauce was light, with subtle sweetness and savouriness. I really liked it! Their rice vermicelli is slightly thicker than the thin bee hoon you normally have, and they were really nice and smooth. There were also shredded omelette, sliced cucumbers and pickled veg like carrots and radish, which added a nice crunch to the dish. The 2 deep fried soft shell crabs which were halved were good too, meaty and not really oily. I really loved how everything went really well together and I'll be coming back to order this dish again!

&Sons was pretty much like a bar restaurant, with really loud music playing in the background. The concept here is that the food they serve are tapas style, with small portions for each dish. We were expecting to have decent/great food here but we were really disappointed.


The yellow sauce you see at the top is the sea urchin sauce. Both the taste of the sauce and spaghetti were really forgettable. This dish was also quite oily.



I really love cod fish but the Roast Cod was very charred (the other side of the fish was even more charred), such that the charred taste overpowered the taste of the cod, which was really a pity. Not to mention all the charred bits are super cancerous too. The only thing I liked out of all the dishes was actually the salad served with the cod.



The iberico pork belly was really tough, making it really difficult to bite the meat apart. We were expecting the meat and fats to be melt-in-your-mouth sort of standard . The Tuscan bean cream was mild, tasted like mashed beans only.



The mojito was ok to me, which had a strong lemon taste but no mint taste. Wished I could somehow taste the mint since that's one of the biggest components of a mojito.
