Been wanting to try their Duck Prata Roll since I saw someone post a pic of it on Instagram. Finally got a chance to dapao it for my tea break



The Crispy Duck Prata Roll consists of sliced duck with hoisin sauce and julienned cucumber wrapped in prata. There were 5 of such pieces you see in the above picture. It was pretty good, like a less atas version of Peking duck but still yummy! Will definitely be ordering more of this in the future and I'm sure it'll taste even better if you eat it there in the cafe.

It's my first time at Sun with Moon and after thinking long and hard about what to order, I decided to get try their Kamameshi (steamed seasoned rice) because it's not something that I've seen at other restaurants.

Before talking about the food, I just wanted to share that the restaurant was really spacious with nice decor, and the ambience was really nice. Service was also great - the waiter who took our order was really friendly and funny


My Aburi Seafood Kamameshi consisted of salmon roe and seared prawn, scallop and salmon cubes. Hidden within the steamed rice were ingredients like chestnuts. It was alot like bamboo rice to me. Personally, I did not think it was nice...it was very ordinary to me, though my friend liked it. I will be back to try their other food but won't be ordering their Kamameshi again.

We wanted to go to Sunday Folks which is just down the road, but the queue was really long, so we tried our luck at Daily Scoop instead. Daily Scoop was really crowded too but luckily we managed to get a seat after waiting for a while.


I decided to try some flavours that are not commonly available elsewhere. Wanted to try their Chai but it wasn't available, so I got their Coconut and Earl Grey flavours instead. Both flavours tasted exactly like how the original food/drink tasted and it was a pleasant surprise. The Coconut ice cream had coconut bits in it too! I really enjoyed their ice cream and will definitely be back for more

I stumbled across this restaurant recently and found out that their sushi quality is really good, and it's not too expensive.



I got myself a soft shell crab maki this time and it was coated with seaweed bits and sesame which was really nice! It was quite unique and everything tasted fresh and nice.


This wagyu beef nigiri costs $12 each but they reduced the price during our visit to $7+. It's really really expensive but it was oh-so-good too!! The meat was so tender and juicy and it was still slightly pink. A pity it's so expensive if not I would have ordered more!


What I like about the sashimi here is that it comes in smaller portions, hence I can order more variety. The tako was really juicy and sweet, and the salmon was nice and fresh too. Excellent food.

This stall seemed to be doing really good business as they are occupying the space of 3 stalls! We decided to give this stall a try.


The sambal stingray was fresh and meaty topped with lots of yummy sambal. Slurp!


This was really good too! Just seeing the pic is making me drool again. There were a lot of meaty clams which made me really happy (the clams from some other stalls are often very tiny and most times alot of the clams remain closed) plus the sambal was super yummy! It was sweet, savoury and spicy and I could just have the sambal with rice alone

Definitely recommend this stall!
