UFO Bread & Royal Pudding!  OK Mar 02, 2014

Was my second time visiting Paris Baguette, it was again, full of people. Firstly, the food is really not cheap, secondly, the walkway towards the al-fresco seating is really narrow and the walkway for selection of the breads is also very narrow, thus till now, I only visited twice.

Bought its UFO Bread ($3.00) this time, the UFO Bread is just pretty normal, except that it really looks like an UFO, otherwise the bread was really normal, the filling was just plain custard, which taste like vanilla. As per normal, bought the Royal Pudding. The Royal Pudding comes in various kind of flavours, including Mango, Strawberry, Caramel, Chocolate and Original, ranging from $4.00 to $4.50/bottle. The Royal Pudding is really ROYAL. Somemore, you can recycle the bottle after use! The bottle is really cute-looking and its quite useful, can be used to keep water and etc!

All in all, for a price of $3-$7 for breads, in my honest opinion, really not worth it. But, for its Royal Pudding, I'll still be there again soon!

Popiah! Smile Mar 02, 2014

Was at the place for some Ye Lai Xiang Cheng Tng and decided to patronize this Popiah Stall, the popiah costs $1.40/roll. Bought two rolls for $2.80. Fortune Food is kind of famous in Singapore, with quite a number of stalls located all around Singapore, they are specialise not only in Popiah, but they also do sell Kueh Pie Ti, Popiah Skin and also the various ingredients to make Popiah, like the chilli sauce, peanuts used to make Popiah.

The 'chap chai', also known as vegetables used in the Popiah was very nicely cooked, the lady was generous with the portion of vegetables as well. With the other ingredients like egg, sesame, peanuts all added, its really one of the best Popiah in Singapore. But caution, the chilli is kind of spicy, so for those non-spicy eaters, please ask for less chilli or without chilli! Otherwise, the food is really fantastic and the lady is kind of friendly as well!

UmiSushi Platter

UmiSushi Platter

This is the UmiSushi Lovely Elf Platter, $49.90. It was introduced during the Christmas and New Year season. The platter includes 42 pcs of different sushi, including California Ham Sushi, Unagi Sushi, Egg Sushi etc.

The sushis were very fresh, nicely designed and prepared. The best was the Unagi Sushi, the unagi was grilled till prefect and with the rice, it tasted superb. For a price of $49.90, I think its worth it for 42 pcs of sushi and condiments like soy sauce and wasabi.

Recommended Dish(es):  Unagi Sushi
