Kaya bread has always been a favorite amongst Singaporeans. I was collecting some stuffs from my friend at Rivervale Plaza and we decided to buy a pack of kaya buns for takeaway. In a pack of four, the buns were fresh and fluffy. The kaya tasted sweet and brings back a very nostalgic feeling. $1.50 for a pack which I found really reasonable. Cool.

My friends and I decided to try some desserts as we chanced upon Desserts House. The menu looks interesting and I tried the mango jelly dessert. They gave a huge portion of mango and aloe vera which made me very pleased. The lime added gave a refreshing taste to the ice jelly. We would patronize the stall again soon.

Olio Cafe at Dome has really good food! Ordered a club sandwich and mocha for takeaway! The sandwich was crisp and warm while the mocha was a sweet and energizing treat! The service was good as the cashier smiled and handled me my change promptly. Total bill amounted like $17.30. There are additional discounts for Olio members-10%!

I've seen the queue at Chewy Junior's Bugis outlet. At peak hours especially, the queue gets really long! Having sampled their pastry, I thought it was really good and decided to buy their blueberry and strawberry cheese flavors! They tasted very much like cream puffs with additional fruit jams on top of them. Kinda like scones just that their puffs are chewy!! Can't wait to try out their other flavors the next time I drop by! tongue

marche is mad love! no wonder the queue is always so long during dinner time! whenever i'm at somerset, I would drop by their bakery counter to pick up some of my favorite pastries or sandwiches! last week, I bought a bread from their display counter and it was yummy yummy! The Anti Pasti Roll Brot I had was a little too pricey though. 6 bucks, but their bread is more worth the taste and quality compared to most bakeries!
