The usual vegetarian bee hoon comes in a set at $2.50. The special thing about this stall is that you get to choose your own vegetarian ingredients and they are priced much cheaper! They also have claypot rice, fried rice on certain days and they are just as tasty. A healthier choice with lesser oil added into their cooking, this stall is recommended for vegetarians and the elderly who are more health cautious! They also have white rice/ brown rice for you to choose from.

Fishball Noodle is one of my favorite dishes in primary school. My darling brought me to try these fantastic fishballs knowing how much I loved to re mince on childhood. The fishballs were springy and fresh to the first bite. Reminds me of Jay Chou's song, the 'Ping-Pong'. Anyhow, the noodles are not overcooked but overall I would rate this an average dish.

If you enjoy Old Chang Kee, you will definitely feel the same towards Pie Connection. I was extremely hungry this afternoon and decided to buy a curry puff. The crust was thick but crisp and warm. Also, the fillings were generous with chunks of chicken and some egg. They also sell fish balls, sotong balls, chicken nuggets etc etc. All being ordinary, I'm contented to stick to my curry puffs.

Some people like the banana leaf style of fried prawn noodles. For me, I don't mind it on a plate. I ordered a plate at $3 and the noodles came pretty fast. Prawns were just average and the sotong was tough to chew. However, the noodles were wet enough. Their chili sauce and ingredients are the norm. Nothing too generous or expected. There are drier versions of fried prawn mee I believe.

This stall sells not only desserts but sugar cane juice! Something 'extra' to me since most desserts stall I came across don't normally sell sugar cane juice. It was a really hot afternoon and I decided to order a cup to chill off the heat. The juice was naturally sweet and it does the work of waking you up differently. Very refreshing indeed. I also recommend this place for their desserts.
