Waffles! Smile Jun 12, 2011
Categories : Bakery

This is my second time visiting this PrimaDeli outlet and I must say you can never go wrong with their waffles. I ordered a piece of kaya waffle as it's been ages since I had one. The waffle was very well done- crispy but not burnt. Together with the kaya spread, it gives me great satisfaction with each bite. The staff was polite and friendly as she handled me my change. Would be great if PrimaDeli starts offering durian flavored waffles like some other bakeries do.

BreadTalk OK Jun 04, 2011

Categories : Bakery

This breadtalk outlet experiences heavy human traffic flow since most of the shoppers pass by. I bought a chocolate cream cheese bread to nibble on while shopping. The bread was a little crispy but not too hard on the outside. There is very little taste of chocolate but the cream cheese inside the bread was evident. Not a very good place to buy your daily bread since its very expensive. The chocolate cream cheese bread costs me something like $1.40 if I didn't remember wrongly. Can't wait for BreadTalk to have its GSS promotions!! Make all your breads $1?

Grass Jelly Drink OK Jun 04, 2011
Categories : Singaporean

The shopping center was very crowded over the weekends and we decided to get a drink to quench our thirst. My friend ordered the set which comes with a soyamilk and pancake maru. It was my first time ordering the grass jelly drink from Jollibean since I normally buy their soya bean milk. The grass jelly drink tasted normal but it was refreshing to have it in such hot weathers. Costs $1.40 a cup.

Beef Lasagne OK Jun 04, 2011

My friend and I specially made a date to visit this cafe since we've always wanted to go but didn't make it in the end. We were particularly excited with all the cute cartoon decorations of the cafe. It was a Friday and yet the place wasn't crowded at all. Good thing we got to pick our seats, the one with a snoopy imprinted on the table. There were no waiters/waitresses to take our orders so we had to proceed into the store to order ourselves. We had their 1-for-1 promotion and ordered a beef lasagne. The lasagne was not a very huge portion but it was quite filling with lots of mozerella cheese and tender beef bits in it. The pasta was well cooked but I would consider this lasagne average tasting. Would love to visit this place again to try their desserts next time.

Chicken Teriyaki Sub Smile Jun 04, 2011
Categories : American | Fast Food | Burgers and Sandwiches

After a tiring morning, my classmate and I stopped by to have brunch at subway. Fortunately the seats were not all taken up and we could find a place to sit in the restaurant. I decided to order the chicken teriyaki since my friend recommended and boy, it tasted good! The tender chicken pieces dressed lightly with teriyaki sauce made me crave for more. It is also under 6 grams of fat which makes it another of my favorite subs!
