Tired after walking, we decided to stop at the last level of Parkway Parade, Pastamania. The place is pretty empty with lots of seats. I had their Cheesy Crumble. It was my first time ordering this. The pasta is Fusilli. It is tossed in homemade cheese sauce topped with parmesan crumble. There's nothing else other than pasta and cheese. To be honest, i didn't quite like this as it was too dry to my liking. However, this dish is really cheap! So no complaints!

I've finally took time to have mains in Marmalade Pantry. It was full of regrets! I ordered their spaghetti with scallops and prawns. When this dish was placed in front of me, i almost wanted to puke. The fishy smell was so strong that i couldn't take it. Apparently the smell came from those tiny dried shrimps. Tons of them swarming in there. I tried the sauce, the taste was horrible and unexplainable. Next i tried biting into the scallops. They were so tough and unchewable! Prawns were fine but the smell from the sauce and all was overpowering. I stopped eating thereafter.

Different places have different standards and quality of food i feel due to the fact that the chefs are different. I had a few of Putien dishes in Tampines outlet and they are up to standard but for Parkway parade branch, it is a little disappointing. I had their lor mee in white sauce with clams. The soup was somehow tasteless. Noodles were not really soft too. Another spinach dish we ordered tasted really bitter! It was untouched after a one mouthful. As for the service, it was only average. Staffs seemed to be hiding in a corner and chit chatting among themselves instead of paying attention to the diners.

Attracted by the beeline queue, we decided to give it a try! After a day of shopping, this is a great place to sit down, relax and have sweet bites! I ordered a cup of hot milk. I thought it was suppose to be bland or something but it is overly sweet. I requested the waitress to add more milk or something. They are pretty efficient to get it changed. I saw this piece of pastry on display and ordered. It is really dry and the custard are kind of hardened. Seriously, this place looked really good and food looked tasty but it is not actually that tasty at all. Totally not worthy!

I really don't get it. What's with the super long queue!!!! The food are almost average. I ordered crab and pork xiao long bao and it is not even comparable to those at crystal jade. I find the skin of the dumpling a tad too dry for my liking. The soup it contained is very little as well. The only point to rave about is that the service is good! Most of the staffs are either Malaysians or China from their accent.
