Thumbs Up - Pancake Smile Mar 14, 2011

Categories : Singaporean | Stall / Kiosk

A famous pancake stall in the heart of bugis village. The waiting time can be a little long though! I had cheese and sausage pancake. The pancake is hot and crispy. Very fragrant mixed together with egg, cheese and sausage. It is mouth watering especially after a day of shopping! Careful as it is very hot!

Rosraihanna - Mee soto Smile Mar 14, 2011

This Mee soto is very fragrant and tasty! The soup is aromatic and flavourful. Not sure what is it inside though, probably brewed with the bones of lamb or beef. I can drain the entire bowl of soup without a single drop left. Shows how tasty it is! The bee hoon and mee are cooked just nice. I even added a potato patty. All in all, this is a delicious malay cuisine. A must try!

Po Bay - Ecomomic Rice/ porridge Smile Mar 14, 2011

This stall is located at the end of basement 1. It's very secluded yet the queue is forever long. They serve fast too thus, the waiting hour is pretty short. They have the best dishes so far. However, their porridge is sometimes too hard ! Probably they don't have time to cook it. I love their steamed egg with minced pork, braised pork belly and cabbage the most. Not forgetting their aromatic beancurd skin. Delicious!

This stall is manned by an old lady and one aunty. They are really friendly people. Their food is very home cooked style and makes me go back for more as it brought back memories! It tasted somewhat like what my grandma used to cooked. It is really cheap too! I always had porridge and just 2 or 3 dishes of food. Their porridge is really soft, not congee type. You can feel the rice grain and it comes with a couple of sweet potato. I love their steamed egg, cabbage and potato with luncheon the most. The potato tasted like french fries in tomato sauce. Very fragrant.

Golden Mile Fried Kuay Teow  Smile Mar 11, 2011

Categories : Hawker Centre | Noodles

This Ipoh Hor fun is somewhat like fried kway teow except that it is white in colour. It is really very tasty and fragrant. I love the prawns especially! It is transparent , sweet, juicy and succulent! The noodles are normal noodles not those thick or overly thin ones. This dish is not too wet, kinda dry and oily though but still it is really delicious!
