Herbal chicken soup OK Dec 05, 2010
Categories : Chinese | Food Court | Stall / Kiosk | Kids-Friendly

It's raining for few days and makes me craving for soupy food. Therefore, i ordered the claypot herbal chicken soup. Waited for about 10 mins to get my food.
The stall keep increasing the price of food. It's now costs me $5.30 for a soup with rice.
The soup taste good but seems like lots of msg added. Chicken meat is tender.
The claypot will keep the soup hot and good for the cold weather like today.

Categories : Hawker Centre | Rice

This was my first time trying hakka food and i totally fall in love with it.
It's only vegetable with rice. Healthy food choice. I've also ordered the hakka tofu and egg because i scared i do not like the thunder tea rice. tongue
The stall signboard listed down all the benefits of thunder tea rice such as promotes good health, slimming, detox and help to treat diabetes, etc.

Thai food OK Dec 04, 2010
Categories : Thai | Restaurant | Curries | Kids-Friendly

Aroy Dee Thai Food is located at sunshine plaza which is not accessible if you do not have car. The nearest mrt station is bugis and about 10 mins walking distance.
The restaurant is quite crowded and smelly. Foods are good at the reasonable price.
The garlic fried pork with rice is too dry and the pork is too hard. Pineapple rice is delicious.
Business is good but restaurant is too small and i saw a customer was asked to move to the other table when he was eating half way.

ah yat tian xia OK Dec 04, 2010
Categories : Singaporean | Restaurant | Seafood | Kids-Friendly

Ah yat tian xia is located at the orchard central. The environment and services are good but the business is bad because most of the people would go to the 313 shopping mall rather than the orchard central. Therefore, they are having various promotions like set lunch, set dinner or students promotion.
We've ordered the baked rice with abalone and abalone ramen.
The whole abalone is very small. It's just like a thumb big.
The food seems like used lots of msg to cook.
It's just average and not really worth to go there if there's no more promotion.

80 cents cheng tng OK Dec 04, 2010
Categories : Hawker Centre | Desserts and Cakes

It's only 80cents for a cheng tng. There's various type of ingredient such as atap chee, pineapple, peach, longan, lychee, barley... The stall is managed by an old lady and her husband. Very long in the cooked food centre and the price remained at 80 cents.
