Crispy Pratas Smile Apr 25, 2012

These pratas from this Indian Restaurant is more towards the crispy version. The staffs here are really friendly and approachable. It took them less than five minutes to serve me my two slices of crispy pratas. Their pratas also can be consider a wider version and also not too oily too. The fish curry gravy that go along with it has blend well with these pratas. Although the price is abit high compare to other prata shops which only sell less than a dollar for per piece, I will still choose to eat here as the environment, taste and people still wins over the other prata shops.

Chicken piece OK Apr 25, 2012

Popeye is popular and good with their deep fried chicken. Decided to give it a try but my winning deep fried chickens in mind is still KFC. One thing good about their chicken is they are not that oily. But I should say the chicken mean is abit too dry and hard, and the chicken does not taste that fragrant as well. The black pepper gravy on top of the mashed potato is also quite diluted and the taste is abit too bland. The french fries are served 'cold' which really make me very disappointed. Just really wonder whether other outlets for Popeye also served the same quality foods as this branch?

Fried Vegetable fritters Smile Apr 25, 2012

These fried vegetable fritters is one of my favourite choice when I place order at this restaurant. It is really colourful as it includes shredded carrots, sliced egg plants, chopped french beans in it. Even though this dish looks simple, but every individual vegetables which you tried will have their own unique taste. It is really crispy, but even if is a deep fried dish, you will still do not feel so sinful as it is still 'vegetables' after all.

Pan Grilled Chicken Smile Apr 25, 2012

This grilled chicken from Secret Recipe should be consider one of the healthier version. The chicken is really not oily and all chicken skins have been removed before they proceed with the grilling. However I should say the chicken meat is rather abit dry. The french fries used for this main course is also not too oily and not too salty too. The entire course portion is just alright for a person. For those who really worried to eat sinful foods and yet wanted to enjoy the luxury of some fast foods, this dish can be an ideal choice for you.

Hot Pot  OK Apr 25, 2012

Categories : Japanese | Restaurant | Seafood

This Japanese restaurant looks really nice with their simple furnishes which looks like Japan's furniture. It is really spacious but do be awared that it is really cold in this restaurant. Tried their hot pot, which suppose to be their well-known dish here. The soup base is rather bland and you could not really decide whether is this a vegetable soup base or meat bone boiled soup base. Glad that the cabbages, carrots, sliced pork belly and mushrooms are really fresh. However the end product of it after you pour in everything in the hotpot is really plain and not much flavour as well. Moreover, the price is rather high as well.
