Fondue OK Jul 10, 2012
Categories : American | Café | Desserts and Cakes

Fondue to share! The two flavors that we chose was Dark Chocolate and White Chocolate as the flavor is more distinct. The middle flavor was a complementary Caramel which paired rather well with the bananas.

It took a while for the fondue to be prepared and the service was not impeccable.
The biscuits were rather soft and hard to dip into the chocolate without it crumbling everywhere.

The experience was decent, but I don't see myself going back as a regular for this.
There are some other dishes that looked interesting but decisions would be more easily made if there more photos. The smell of chocolate can be very alluring but it's not a constant smell in the restaurant.

Penyet Smile Jul 10, 2012
Categories : Indonesian | Food Court

Had a friend visiting town and recommended that he try the Indonesian type of Fried Rice-- something uncommon outside of Indonesia and South East Asia.

There was the normal Ayam Penyet that was fried and then there was a grilled option.

The grilled option has a sweet black sauce that I would like to say is different from the black sauce that is used for Char Kway Teow but I'm no cook. The chili is very strong and flavorful. Even a tinge of it is enough to have your tongue sweating and trying to get more water. That said, it is still very tasty and has a zesty lime taste which will have us back to play with more fire (in this case, chili)

Wish that the food was a little more warm when received from the behind the counter though.
Do note that as the food court gets really crowded to get a table while sending other people to purchase food.

A slightly more affordable option that dining at the neighboring Gardens by the Bay.

Avocado Milk OK Jul 10, 2012
Categories : Food Court

Fresh avocado juice plus an additional 50cents to add milk in order to get Avocado Milk.
One thing I liked about this stall is that they didn't add gula melaka (Coconut sugar).
Also, the ice in the drink wasn't filled to the brink as if the stall owners wanted to try to get away with giving you less of the actual juice.
The size of the juice was just about right but the total cost of the drink cost about $4.00 shocked

Mexican food! OK Jul 10, 2012
Categories : American | Burgers and Sandwiches

Really miss mexican food and happened to be in RW Sentosa for dinner and saw that the queue outside Chili's was still manageable.

The Guacamole can be added to your Quesdailas as a side at an extra 2-3 dollars. They were made just right and the portion was great to share amongst others. Good deal mad

The boneless buffalo chicken was slightly disappointing as the chicken was obviously frozen meat that had been fried. It was rather misleading as we thought we were in for some actual chicken meat instead of the frozen type of chicken meat, though they did state 'boneless'. The bleu cheese was about right but the chicken didn't seem very 'buffalo' like (comparing this to the taste and sauce of Buffalo Wings)

If you don't mind, opt to sit by the bar and you may be able to get seats faster!

Dimsum on Sunday Smile Jul 10, 2012
Categories : Singaporean Chinese

Do consider Tung Lok for Sunday brunch as they have dimsum specials on the weekends!
My favorite dimsum Char Siu Sou; Char Siu wrapped in small croissant-like shell is one of the weekend specialties.

Steamed minced vegetables and mushrooms bun

Carrot Cake with a stir-fried Taro top. Different from normal Carrot cake and paired nicely with some sliced garlic.

You can order Chrysanthemun tea at the restaurant and ask for honey syrup on the side tongue
