Frolick at Bugis Juction is always an ideal place for chilling out after shopping for the whole day. The yogurt comes with 3 cups sizes with different yogurt flavors which are: original, chocolate, peach. Besides that, there are variety of toppings for you to choose from which are: strawberries, mangoes, peach, marshmallows, gummy bear, berries, cookies, chocolate waffles and many many more toppings which are super tempting!!!! lollol

Categories : Dim Sum

Din Tai Fung at Bishan Junction 8 had been for awhile and i finally got the chance to try the food over there on last month and I had ordered a few more popular dishes.

The "fried rich with shrimp and egg" is a must call dish because the rice is well coated with egg and retains a bite to it. Besides that, the fried rice is studded with whole pieces of whole shrimp!!! Some more, the rice is not oily and salty!!

The second dish is the " noodle soup with shrimp pork wantan". The broth is light and nice, combine with the shrimp pork wantan is really the best combination!! lol

Lastly will be the most popular dim sum in Din Tai Fung which is "steamed pork dumplings". The dumplings come in 6 pcs per tray. The skin of the dumplings would not break if you using chopsticks to pick up them and you can see the soup swish within. The method of eating these dumplings is actually bite off the top first, and then slurp the soup before comsuming the rest fo the dumpling. The taste of the dumplings is really can't explained by words! You would have to experience yourself and find out how delicious the dumpling is! lol

Recommended Dish(es):  steamed pork dumplings

Spending per head: Approximately $40

Categories : Bakery

Went to Bakerzin on last week to help one of my best friends to celebrate her birthday. I had pre-ordered a size M New york Cheesecake for her.

Basically, it is a cream cheesecake coated with a tangy strawberry glaze and dotted with seasonal strawberries. It is very yummy because the cheesecake has a strong strawberry smell.

The place is quite ambience, the lightning there is bright enough too. smile

As a student of Nanyang Polytechnic, I've always visit the Muslim Cuisine stall which is located at the southest part of NYP- South Canteen. The stall always have a long long queue during lunch time peak hour. There are many varieties such as chicken curry, vegetables, sambal sotong, egg and etc. They also sell nasi lemak at $1 which is affordable by student like me. The $1 nasi lemak consist of fried egg, cucumber, peanuts and 2 chicken drumsticks. It is SUPER DUPER worth for trying!!lollol
Yummy Nasi Lemak!!!

Yummy Nasi Lemak!!!

Although they sell their food at lowest price, they maintain the quality of their food well. So, do come down and have a try!chopstickbowl

First time went to Lau Pa Sat and before that I had do some some research and found out the place is famous with satay. Ordered the 20 sticks of chicken satays :

The chicken meat is thick enough. The satays taste really fantastic with the special peanut sauce! Besides satays, there are few pieces of ketupat and cucumber which you can dip with the peanut sauce too! lol

Recommended Dish(es):  satay
