Nasi Padang  OK Jul 30, 2012
Categories : Indian | Malay | Restaurant | Rice

Slightly less than $4 per plate, this plate of nasi padang is quite filling and the shop also has a wide range of other types of side dish ranging from rendang to fish to different types of vegetables. I chose the kang kong and lady fingers with 2 chicken nuggets. The serving of vegetables were very generous, in fact more than the rice provided were lesser than the vegetables given. The vegetables are slightly too salty for me but still goes well with the rice. As for the nuggets it is soft and succulent. Overall not too bad though the vegetables were too salty for me mad

Vegetable Puff OK Jul 30, 2012

Categories : Bakery | Halal

For more than $1 each, I decided to try the vegetable puff instead of the usual chicken puff and found that is it quite a nice puff too! The vegetable puff is stuffed with potatoes, bits of vegetables such as peas and carrots. Overall not too salty a filling and blends well with the crust of the puff! The crust is crispy and not too oily and I actually liked it more than the chicken pie as it is relatively a healthier choice compared to the chicken pie tongue

Yong Tau Foo Laksa! OK Jul 30, 2012

For more than $3 a bowl, this bowl of laksa with yong tau foo has a rich taste and is slightly spicy. The laksa sauce which is the most important sauce taste rich and has a slight coconut taste to it and is slightly oily and spicy. The yong tau foo such as fishballs, tau kwa and tau pok are served fresh and as it is soaked in the laksa sauce, each bite to it has a burst of laksa juice in your mouth! This bowl of noodle is served with bee hoon which is boiled just right and not too soft or hard. Overall not too bad smile

This cup of Machi green tea is for those who loves tea leaves and rich tea flavour! Served with a tea bag soaked in hot water, no other preservatives or sugar is added to this drink and taste really refreshing. The tea leaves has a rich taste and smell of green tea leaves mixed with other types of tea leaves and is a really rich bag of tea leaves that will cater to those who loves tea! Overall not too bad a drink but slightly too blend for me mad

Yummy Fresh Rojak!  Smile Jul 30, 2012
Categories : Food Court

For $4 a plate, this plate of rojak is simply a refreshing treat! Each plate is served with fresh pineapples, cucumbers, radish, bean curd sprinkled with sweet sauce and peanut slices. The fresh fruits and vegetables are sliced in large cubes and are crunchy and juicy. THe bean curd was fried before added to the plate and hence has a slightly crunchy and salty taste. As for the sweet and peanut sauce, it was not too sweet and not too much was poured on it so a joy to eat highly recommended to all rojak lovers! smile
