Once upon a Milkshake

Once upon a Milkshake

Once Upon a Milkshake store in Raffles City shopping mall basement sells milkshakes. The Milkshakes are very thick and nice. Mrupupup tried chocolate milkshake with a tinge of banana. The thick milkshakes means one has to try very hard to suck through the straw for the milkshake. Super nice! Do try their flavours and since it is the Great Singapore Sale, the store is having a discount on their milkshakes. As the saying goes, once upon a milkshake, we live happily ever after. Slurps!!!! Yummy milkshake indeed. Mrupupup is happy.

Azabu Sabo Hokkaido Ice Cream

Azabu Sabo Hokkaido Ice Cream

Mrupupup had the Azabu Sabo Hokkaido Ice Cream at Central Mall in Clarke Quay area. Azabu Sabo Ice Cream is very nice and unique japanese ice cream taste. The great thing is Azabo Sabo has their own japanese ice cream specialist to make the ice cream. The ice cream comes in many flavours - green tea, mango, rum & raisin, sesame, chocolate, lychee, strawberry and many many yummy flavours. Mrupupup had their unique green tea and red bean flavour ice cream. Wow, very nice ice cream and Mrupupup was slowly savouring the ice cream bit by bit. Mrupupup loved the rich, creamy milk taste and loved that the Hokkaido ice cream comes in a cone biscuit. Attached photo of the green tea with red bean ice cream.

Cafe Cartel Pork Ribs Smile Jul 11, 2012

Mrupupup went to try the Cafe Cartel St Louis Pork Ribs. Loved the tender taste of the pork ribs in BBQ sauce. The Cafe Cartel outlet was not busy during dinner time. The Cafe Cartel staff at Nex Mall was good in their service. Take note that Cafe Cartel has stopped serving free flow of bread and now the bread need to pay. Anyway, the St Louis Pork Ribs was nice, juicy, taste great, and Mrupupup included a peach tea, garlic bread and soup as part of the set. Pretty nice meal, thinks Mrupupup just satisfied the craving for ribs! Yummzz! Check out the pork ribs photo (attached).

Maison Kayser - Bakery Smile Jul 11, 2012

Maison Kayser is in Singapore and the French bakery is opened at Scotts Square basement 1 (in Orchard Road/Scotts Road area). The bakery is from Paris/ France and the breads got a nice french taste to it (something like De Paul Bakery). The breads are not cheap but all of the breads look so nice to eat. Good thing the bakery let mrupupup try out their breads with different flavours like nuts or fruits. If you like tarts or eclairs, the bakery also sells and the items look good. Mrupupup bought one bread with chocolate (with photo) -'pain au chocolate' (french words - meaning bread with chocolate). Maison Kayser is also an outlet where one can sit down to slowly enjoy the bread with coffee.

Soup Restaurant Smile Jul 11, 2012

Categories : Chinese Soup

The Soup Restaurant is really nice place to eat Chinese food. Mrupupup really enjoyed their signature dish - samsui ginger chicken (attached photo), really nice! Mrupupup ordered the 3 persons set although there were four people (which was enough for us). The Soup Restaurant is located at the 2nd floor of Hougang Mall. Soup Restaurant has many outlets in Singapore. The dinner set included samsui ginger chicken, olive rice, beancurd in a claypot, lotus root with pork ribs soup, minced meat with egg yolk steamed and stir fried potato leaves. The samsui chicken comes with fresh lettuce for a good healthy meal. The service at Soup Restaurant was good and fast. Yummzz!
