Visit http://www.celestialdelish.com/2012/07/singapore-food-festival-2012.html for a detailed review and more photos.

I didn't literally visit the restaurant but had tried their food during the SFF 2012 at Waterfront Promenade @ Marina Bay.

Among the delectable creations is their Chilli Crab & Creamy Butter Crab (made from secret ingredients) that is well-received by tourists and local.

Specially created by Seafood Paradise for SFF - Seafood Platter @ $36.90. With a Choice of

Chilli Crab

Creamy Butter Crab

Both seafood platter consists of chilli/creamy butter crab, stri fried geoduck with asparagus in xo sauce, crisp-fried prawns tossed with salted egg yolk, deep fried coral trout cooked in Nyonya-style, and a seafood fried rice.

Since this is the highlight of the dish, we decided to try the Creamy Butter Crab @ $36.90

I adore the lip smackingly flavorful sauce. Its very unique, mildly sweet, with nice fragrant of curry leave, pepper, and chilli spicing up the milky gravy. But I didn't had the crab because they didn't break the shell properly.

The crispy thin crust prawns dredged in salted egg yolk was awesome, its like wrapping the prawn in a whole salted egg yolk!

I loves the Geoduck with asparagus in xo sauce. Nice fragrant of dried shrimps and chilli. A tad spicy to me, but I think most people will find it very spicy. A very appetizing dish, wish they had give a bigger portion.

Deep fried coral trout was a tad dry and overcooked. But the sauce was tasty with a combination of spicy, sweet and tangy flavours.

Seafood fried rice has scallops and shrimp topped with shrimp roe was fragrant.

Innovative combination that will tickle the taste buds! MUST TRY!

- The Food
A mini salad bar to allow patrons to assemble their own salad plates.

The usual salmon sashimi and assorted seafood, Cooked salmon, Baked giant seabass, Giant Mortabella Sausage, Grilled sausage... Need more carbs to fulfilled your stomach? Try the Paella.

Carnivores lovers will love the roasted beef and lamb.

One of the highlight was the Cheese Risotto that will be cooked in a 38kg of paramessan wheel!

The vivid cheese risotto was one impressive dish and if you are adventurous enough, try the Lasak Risotto which has nice flavours of spice and a little spicy.

Both the cheese and lasak risotto definitely my favorite of the night!

The same station will prepare your lasak, mee soto and pasta.

There was also a wide variety of the Asian station which include chicken curry, masala eggplant, dhall, roti prata, mee tai bak, fried rice, assorted tim sum, kailan, roasted duck, steam fish, fish with mango salsa, roasted potato, etc.

We also had the Poached Code Fillet @ $34 from the a la carte menu

Poached in spicy coconut and prawn broth, served with sauteed vegetables and chicken rice. It doesn't taste like lasak but the creamy rich sauce has nice fragrant of spice.

You will be spoil with the wide variety of Mini cakes, bread, assorted jelly and mousse in mini cups, creme brulee...

- My Opinion
Don't be afraid to try the Durian Pengat with Gula Melaka, its creamy light texture with a little sweetness will make you crave for more.

You must also try the chocolate cup, lemon custard in chocolate cup married perfectly. The Mille-Feuille is not be missed too, a delicious puff pastry layered chocolate cream.

We love buffet, don't we? The tasteful spreads and modem ambience come together like a charm. Come indulgent yourself at The Square now!

The coffee shop is behind Market Street (Golden Shoes) Food Centre, they have outdoor and indoor seating area with non-air con. However 2nd floor has more seating capacity and its with air con! So, you know where to find your seat if you visit this coffee shop ;)

This stall is famous for their roasted duck rice, roasted pork, bbq pork (Char Siew) and chicken rice.

My favourite will be either roasted duck rice or the soy sauce chicken rice. The brown soy sauce was sumptuous, thick and flavoured with aromatic sesame seed oil. Chicken meat was tender and nicely cook.

As you can see from the photos, a generous amount of delicious gravy was poured over the chicken, it definitely make you come back for more!

My other friends like their Char Siew rice. According to them, it was well marinated, tasty, chewy, juicey and charred. They love the burnt parts.

Diners can also dig into fresh seafood on ice with the popular Alaskan Snow Crab Leg making a much welcome re-appearance at the seafood bar along with Poached Tiger Prawns, Dutch Black Mussels, Half Shell Scallops and Freshly Shucked House Oysters.

Sesame Black Angus Beef Salad with Red Radish

Loves the thinly sliced medium-rare sirloin, which make it really tender and juicy. The fats are trimmed off after the sirloin is pan seared to avoid over oiliness. Dulcified with aromatic sesame sauce, crunchy red radish, lotus root and edamame. The combination lends a delightful twist and seemingly divinely intervened!

Wok Fried Black Angus Short Ribs with Black Pepper

Sliced Black Angus Short Rib is succulent and tender. However it will be perfect if the Azur's homemade black pepper sauce could be more peppery and robust flavour.

Grilled Black Angus Beef Steak with Forest Mushroom Ragout

Rich and evocative of the forest, the mushrooms (portobello, champignon and trumpet mushrooms) will work their magic in everything from a creamy ragout to a earthy broth. Perfect for mushroom lovers.

Braised Beef Cheek with Root Vegetables

Decadent, fork-tender beef cheek are a crowd favourite. It fills the house with mouthwatering aromatic root vegetables consisting of baby carrot, turnip, parsnip and celeriac. The beef exits the full-flavored, you will be rewarded with super tender and moist dish.

Full Review & Photos @ http://www.celestialdelish.com/2013/05/sushi-tei-spring-is-springing-promotion.html

The well-known and leading chain of Japanese restaurants has kicked off its Spring celebration with the best of the best - Kagoshima Pork. Freshly imported from Kagoshima Prefecture by Sushi Tei, this particular type of Pork is sought after for its sweet flavour and rich fragrance, combined with its delicate texture and juiciness. Chefs at Sushi Tei have whipped up a comprehensive Spring menu showcasing Kagoshima Pork signature dishes, as well as other specialties for the season. The Spring menu is available from now till 15 June 2013.

- Sayori Sashimi @ $12 (s size) / $15 (m size)

The Spring delicacy is a sleek silver fish with a distinctive long and protruding lower jaw and it hence also known as Japanese halfbeak or needlefish. It has a sweet finish with a fine fishy flavour that not everyone will appreciate. Melded well with ginger and a light shoyu dip is enough to accentuate its sweetness and reduce the fishy smell.

- Kani Gyoza @ $6

Tender skin with every bite filled with succulent crab meat, seasoning was light yet flavourful. Served with vinegar and chilli oil dip.

- Pinta Tofu @ $4.80

Chilled organic tofu topped with century egg and fish roe, with creamy special century egg sauce. The century egg sauce do not have the distinct skunky after taste, in fact it was sweet and tasty. So simple yet so delicious.

- Kagoshima Miso Yaki Pork @ $11.50

Skilfully carved pork lion slices are impeccably grilled after being marinating in miso sauce. Each piece features tender and flavoursome lean meat coupled with just the right amount of fat for a buttery finish. The sweet miso complements the flavour of the meat perfectly.

- Kagoshima Pork Hamburger @ $8

Each pork patty is a dense 130g of finely ground Kagoshima pork loin, mixed with finely chopped onions, carrots and a balanced sprinkling of salt & pepper. The hamburger steak was prized for juiciness, rich flavour and tenderness. Accompany with a traditional Okonomiyaki sauce with a hint of sake for extra oomph. The sweet and salty sauce may be a tad heavy on its own, but it sure go well with a bowl of rice!

- Salt & Red Bean Ice Cream @ $3.40

The milky vanilla ice cream was loaded with large valvety red beans, along with slight hint of saltiness. This is somehow new to me, very unique indeed.
