I went over to Coronation to have lunch to kill time. I wasn't hungry so I order 1 Popiah. The popiah is so nice. It is wrapped so properly. The ingredients are so well cooked. The egg was wonderful and soft, the sauce was welled spread and the vegetable was nice. It is so well arranged that when I eat it, nothing falls out, unlike Popiahs that I make myself. It is very tasty and it isn't salty. I think that it is quite healthy as they are all home-cooked and it is very salty. However, it was quite expensive as it costs $2.20. But I think its worth it because it is just too nice. I wish I could eat it everyday, however I don't go there everyday. If only there was delivery, I would definitely get it everyday. It just tastes so good!

Subway Smile Sep 07, 2012

I didn't know what to eat and decided to eat Subway as it was convenient. It's my first time to the Subway at Vivo, but definitely not the first eating Subway. My dad ordered Roasted Chicken Breast for my brother and I. The footlong meal costs $11.90 and it included a big cup of drink and 2 cookies. The bread was Wheat bread. My dad thought I liked Double Chocolate Chip cookie, but actually, my favourite is Raspberry Cheesecake. However, I still ate the Double Chocolate Chip cookie as I was ok with it. The melted cheese was nice and the chicken was tender. However, the chicken at the end of the Sub tasted a little weird. It was hard and had the frozen taste. I think it wasn't cooked properly. I wanted to tell my dad, but I just ate it up. The next time that happens, I would probably complain. For now, it would do and Subway would still be my favourite.

McDouble Smile Sep 07, 2012

It was lunchtime and I had to grab a quick bite as I was rushing for time. I chose McDonald's as it was prepared in a flash and I could finish my meal really fast. I ordered a McDouble, which was the new name for Double Cheese Burger. I didn't know that the name was changed, and when I ordered, I asked for Double Cheeseburger and the staff corrected me saying it was McDouble. That wasn't a good encounter for me and many people were around. I requested for no pickles in my burger. It costs only $2. The burger was salty and tasted ok. I am not really fond of McDonald's but its still acceptable and I would still eat there occasionally. I would go back there, just not too soon.

Treat Smile Sep 07, 2012

It was a week after my birthday and my friends treated me to a cup of Starbucks. Two of my friends shared the cost of a Venti. The choice of drink was Chocolate Chip Cream. That has always been my favourite drink and I would get that without fail each time I visit Starbucks. The chocolate bits was always nice and the ice-blended chcolate drink was soft, in a way creamy and icy too. It's prefect, that why it's my favourite. That was my first time getting a Venti and because of the student's price in Singapore Polytechnic, it costs $7. However, when I went back to school, my friends questioned, saying, "Why is your Venti so small?" It was then that I realised I was cheated and I had gotten a Grande even when I paid for a Venti. It was too late to go back and I had to call Starbucks up to complain. It was very careless of the staff to give me a Grande instead of a Venti. It made me feel really bad for my friends because they paid for this. THe next time I visit, I would definitely compare the size before I leave the shop.

Egg Thosai Smile Sep 07, 2012

My mum wanted to eat at Ghim Moh market because she likes the Yong Tau Foo there, but I have never really liked this place. So, without any choice, I went there to eat. I wanted to eat Roti Prata, but I found out that it was only available in the morning, so I had to settle for Thosai. The only one that I seemed to eat was the Egg Thosai, so I ordered that. The price of it was $1.50, the cheapest compared to the other food found in that shop. I remember the last time eating Thosai as an unpleasant one, but this time, I kind of enjoyed it. Maybe I didn't like such stuff at that young age. It was soft in the middle and crispy at the side. The egg was made nicely and it went really well with the Thosai. I might eat it again when I go there the next time and I'm sure it wouldn't be long before I return there.
