one of the best bubble teas Smile Oct 01, 2012

Love the bubble tea here! Prefer only the original plain sweet milk tea with pearls. Germany has deemed the pearls in bubble tea to be poisonous, so I have to take bubble teas sparingly! Pity, as the bubble tea here is excellent! The tea is very fresh, very fragrant and very premium. the pearls are perfect! Koi and Gong cha fail compared to the pearls here! The staff are quick, efficient and polite. Highly recommended! One of the top 3 bubble teas in Singapore! About $4

custard buns Cry Oct 01, 2012

Categories : Cantonese/Hong Kong | Chinese | Food Court | Dim Sum

the picture in the menu wasn't very clear and we mistakenly believed that the custard buns would be those flowing lava custard type of bun. so we were extremely disappointed when we broke the bun open and the custard was hard and lumpy and very dry. it tasted awful. at 12noon, the staff were not ready to serve. and when the buns did turn out, it was actually from frozen and there was a frozen taste to it. gross. about $3 for 2

nice buns OK Oct 01, 2012

there are nice buns here. not a lot to choose from, unlike at bread talk or crystal jade bread. rather expensive too. around $2.50 per bun. looks good and smells good. tasted good. but it was hollow inside. service was fast and efficient. they sell loaves too but nothing looked worth buying. this was a regular polo bun but it failed compared to crystal jade's.

average korean Cry Oct 01, 2012

Categories : Korean | Food Court | Steaks and Grills

this is one of the worst korean dishes i have had at a food court. the fish was flat and not meaty. the rest of the dish stuck to the hot plate. the rice was mushy and sticky. service was rude. cost about $8. came out sizzling, which could burn you. the kim chi didn't taste good either. the menu was complicated and confusing. it looks good but doesn't taste so good. overall it was not even a good portion.

weird hor fun OK Oct 01, 2012

when we were there, there was only man minding the stall. so he did the order taking, the cooking, the serving, collecting the money, etc... it was chaotic and disorganised. he had to handle the money and the food. unhygienic. it took a very very long time to get served as he was doing so many things. but his trick was that he would get the money and the orders all in at once and then go and cook. which means he will be cooking for a long time. so we waited and waited for him to finish cooking all the orders he took. overall the taste of the food was alright. not too bad. but there wasn't much in it. a few bits of seafood and lots of noodles. it was cooked properly and stuck together. obviously a rush job. cost about $5
