Like satay And think that the gravy is the most important ? Do try out Fatmann satay located at old airport road also !
The satay here is special as it uses marinated minced meat instead of the usual sliced meat.
The meat is fresh and more importantly the mutton does not have the 'mutton' smell
The gravy on the other hand is not very oily and it is real good. Asked for an extra packet of gravy and the uncle often don't charge it.
Another must try there is the ketupak which is a MUST order when u eat satay !!
Also any order comes with a packet of free cucumber and onions which comes in a huge bag !
The waiting time is around 20mins and most importantly it is cooked when it is ordered !
Highly recommended !

Craving for delicious chilli crab ? Black pepper crab ? This is a great place to have crab and tze char in a heartland place. Please also do note that you might have to wait for quite some time to get seated during peak periods like Fridays or weekend. went over there to have dinner with a group of eight other friends and waited for about 30mins to get seated . Ordered a plate of cereal prawn, 1 chilli crab, 1 black pepper crab , claypot vegetables which includes mushroom and also a plate of ma po tou fu (tou fu stirred fried with chilli and minced meat)
The crabs were easy to eat as they were chopped neatly and so it didn't require much effort to eat.
The crabs were fresh and the seasoning were perfect such that it did not masked the freshness of the crabs
The cereal prawn we're quite messy but it was delicious as the cereal was crispy and the prawns were fresh.
The ma po tou fu was great and if you are a spicy lover, it is highly recommended for you to try it
We only ordered 1plate per dish and had a bowl of rice and it was very filling despite us not having lunch before eating dinner
It can be quite pricey if you were to eat alone , come with a big group and the price will be worth it

Went over to Ban Leong Wah Hoe Seafood for a little catch up with friends on a friday for dinner
The restaurant was located slightly far away from thomson plaza and have to take a bus over and luckily it was located near a busstop because it was our first time going there.
The restaurant is a good place for gathering
The restaurant was like your typical tze char restaurant but the food was nice and it is quite worth the price IF YOU'RE GOING WITH A GROUP OF FRIENDS or a group
We ordered some claypot vegetables, cereal prawns, stir fry vegetables (kang kong) and also the hot plate beancurd
The food was nice and the portions were large that each dish could fill up all 8 of us DD

Went over to T.G.I.F on a friday after a long day of school and met up with ex-school mates.
The ambiance there was great except for the part that we had to wait for quite a while for our food to be served
The price was a bit pricey but the portions were large and i recommend that you share your food with a friend unless you have a huge appetite.
The portions were really worth the price !
I shared a plate of nachos with a friends while the others had burger
The nachos were special and portion were more than expected and end up sharing with everyone
The nachos came with 3 different sauces/toppings and one of them was a vegetable blend sauce which tasted good even for a not-so-veggie-lover. The other topping were tomatoes which was diced into small pieces. The other one was the usual tarta sauce
Eat the nachos with all the toppings and it will be a great blend

Mom wanted to eat say aussie food and then after shopping at wheelock we went to Robert Timms
I ordered the fish and chips as usual
The food was great and so is the ambiance and didnt waited very long for our food to be served.
The beer battered fish and chips were great, the fillet meat were fresh and did not have any of the fishy smell that some fish and chips had.
Together with the tartar sauce, this fish and chips is highly recommended especially for its affordable price !
Can't wait to have it again
