Ordered Feeesh n Cheeese ($13.95) for dinner with my friends. Actually this dish is actually same as Manhattan fish and chips, just that for the fries, they added cheese to make it cheese fries. Anyway so I realised I paid $2 more just for the cheese.

I really love the dory fish though! It's well marinated and still succulent. Be sure to squeeze some lemon over the dory fish for some extra taste! There's too much fries for me though, fried fish and fries, too much fried stuff for me. But if you enjoy eating fish and chips, manhattan fish market do have really good and affordable ones! The salad didn't have much dressing so I didn't finish it as well. I asked for extra tartar sauce and chilli sauce for the fries and fish. Service was quite efficient despite being full house and a long queue waiting outside.

I decide not to order the usual 1/4 chicken that I usually order but got chicken breast fillet pita ($13.90 with 2 sides) instead! My sides were wedges and coleslaw. Other than pita, I could have picked from burger or wrap. I’m quite pleased about my choice of pita. It's so nice! It’s like a bread which is very soft and very easy to bite down. The pita was wrapped with 4 small chicken fillets with lots of greens inside like tomato cubes, vegetables. The pita was also lined with Nando’s special mayonnaise sauce and all these really made a good combination. The only downside is that, it’s hard to eat the pita on a whole, I ate my meat and pita separately because everything fell out the moment I tried to cut into half. The wedges were really crisp and good! As for the coleslaw, it’s not too bad but abit too dry.My second time there, the service still hasn’t improved much. There was no refill of water but there weren’t any signs of Nando’s being understaffed despite being 80% full. And we had to go to the counter to pay for our bill in order to expedite the process, else I guess we would have to wait really long. Good food but lacking in service. If you're looking for something different, do try pita!

The Daily Scoop at sunset way is quite out of the way and I only went there because my friend was driving and we wanted a quiet place for desserts! But the place was quite crowded on a Friday night despite being in a far off and quieter part of Singapore.

After trying some flavours, decided to go for something more unique, Bailey's Choc Chip. Don't be surprised if you don't see the some flavours of ice cream being displayed. But if the name of the ice cream is displayed, it means that the flavour is available! Don't be shy to ask to try I think they have too many flavours, not enough space to display all the tubs. Bailey's Choc Chip has alcohol content and usually that's what I go for in an ice cream. This did not disappoint me at all as the bailey's weren't very strong and the ice cream isn't too sweet as well. I got one scoop ($3.50) to share with my friend. Alternatively, if you prefer to have smaller scoops so you can order more flavours, you can get the junior scoop ($2.20).

Was deciding where to have dinner when we walked past soup broth asia and they had a couple set at $20.90 with 2 soups, 1 meat, 1 veg, 2 bowls of rice and one complimentary lemongrass dessert.

The soup portion was huge!!!! Giant glass bowl, probably 1.5 times of the hawker kind. But the soups were a tad too thick and sweet. I had snow pear with pork ribs and my sister had 10 treasures. 10 treasures is probably the healthier choice because it has no meat inside and it has mushrooms, lotus roots and alot more!! I saw some people having the cabbage one which didn’t look too bad. And yes you can choose any soup from the menu!! So it was really worth it. We had ginger sliced fish for our meat dish instead of chicken. Overall, it was quite affordable, I wouldn’t say the food is fantastic but also because there weren’t too many people at about 6pm. Anyway I doubt the flavour of the soup is thick because of MSG because we saw that it’s a MSG free kitchen. The soup tasted sweet probably because of the ingredients, like corn, carrots, pears, orange skin. So it’s like fruits in your soup! The lemongrass dessert was really refreshing after the thick soup.

I've always liked apple strudels and I think that ritz apple strudel has one of the best apple strudels! I've yet to try other flavours because I think that the original is always the best. Other than buying apple strudel ($4.20), I bought eclairs ($3.3 for 6) as well.

The eclairs were rich in chocolate and the cream oozes out when I bite on it. As for the apple strudel, it's big enough for 2-3 persons to share. It's really crispy when I first bought it and ate it but after leaving it in the fridge for a day, the crust wasn't that crispy anymore, so I suggest to finish it on the day that you buy. I like the cream in between the apple bits and the crust as well! For $4.20, I think the price is rather reasonable for such a nice apple strudel!
