it's friday! and time for lunch!

been long since i last ate this..it's my all times fav in Just Acia..
the rice isn't too soggy or dry,
the soup isn't too salty as you know some miso soup tend to taste saltier..
as for the kimchi alike, it has a sweet and spicy taste which goes well with the rice..
as for the dory fish, it did somehow 'absorb' the ginger sauce, feel healthy after eating this meal..

and it cost ONLY $6.90 for such a filling meal!

1st time eating this..
the outlook is so unique..with many layers of 'dough'..
it's soft and crispy, just 1 bite of it you can taste the filling..
unlike some other places curry puff is mainly the outer layer..
the filling is not too watery or dry, the potatoes are soft too!
and also with 1 egg, it really taste good..
would like to emphasize that even though it is fried stuff,
it's not too oily too.
and it cost only $1.50! seriously, it is worth the price that u paid for..

colleague was in Raffles place, so asked him to 'dabao' for me.
it was about 11am, so there isn't any queue at that time..
this is my 2nd time eating it..
i think that you have to request for fork & spoon upon 'dabao',
as colleague didn't get it for him, ended up using my chopsticks & spoon.the picture may not look appealing,
but indeed it's delicious..
the portion of the rice is alot, it is very filling..
was given a big piece of chicken..the chicken is very tender, not like those overcooked which turns out very dry..
as seen from my pictures, it's very 'meaty' and upon peeling off the chicken,
it came out in chunks and not shred..
this meal cost me $4.50, so worthwhile!

so colleague and i went to try this out. the rendang set.
i chose the 1 with chicken.
this is the concept of the place.the staff is really nice when i told him less ice for my drink,
he really give me less ice , unlike other branches, there's no difference.they have a sauce is taste like sambal chilli,
it'll be better if it's spicier.
as usual, i always like the prawns, always that 'springy'
the chicken is crispy unlike 1 of the branch that i went, it's soft & soggy.
after all, it's very worthwhile cox of the price we paid for,
and given the portion can fill out stomach on a mid week.

as u know that mooncakes will be 'popular' only once a year..
was passing by this bakery shop and the mooncakes caught my attention..
decided to get 1 green tea flavour and have it as my breakfast.
it's $1.60/piece.. somehow feel that it's exp..

BUT! after eating it, i seriously feels that it is worth the price..
u will get to eat only a very thin layer of the 'skin',
the rest is the filling.

the filling is not too sweet, it has a little of sweetness and bitterness,
a very authentic green tea taste.
after eating makes me feel like getting another 1 to eat!!

also, the cashier is friendly. she is always carrying a weird smile to customer.
upon telling her i do not require the plastic bag to contain my stuff,
she even offered to tie the bag that has my mooncake in.
