big portion rice OK Mar 31, 2011

Categories : Food Court

I ordered only 2 dishes for this economic rice as they really gave me a big serving.I ordered fried kangkong and and fried fish fillet. The kangkong is big portion but it is overdone, the kangkong tasted a bit bitter. The fish fillet itself is good. The fish tasted fresh and tender, and portion is quite big piece.Overall, it may have been a better meal if i order some other veggies instead of the kangkong.

I saw a queue during lunch for this chicken rice, and decided to join the queue as i wasnt rushing for time and wanted to eat chicken rice. The chicken cutlet is nicely fried with crispy crust. The chicken meat taste fresh and not too tough or dry.i like the fresh beansprouts too.The soup tasted clear and bland, not my cuppa tea.Rice is ok and quite fragrant.

fried noodle OK Mar 31, 2011

My dinner was a packet of fried noodle that cost about $4.Portion wise, it is good enough for me to fill full.Waiting time is about 10 minutes as it was dinner time and there was quite alot of people at the stall.Although the noodles are abit oily, but they still taste wholesomely good.I love the egg pieces and fishcake too. They could have been more generous with the veggies servings as i dont get quite alot of green veggies which are my favourite.

rojak OK Mar 31, 2011
Categories : Coffeeshop

I ordered a $2 portion rojak and requested for only cucumbers and youtiao.Portion is good for only $2.The youtiao wasn't toasted and they were abit soggy. The cucumbers were sliced quite thinly too, i would enjoy it better if they cut it in bigger chunks so it is more crunchy. The rojak paste is nice and sweet , and they sprinkled a generous amount of chopped peanuts.
